What really sucks is a game where the COLTs do not have longe range scanners.

I too have always hated that. Almost every edit I've done, I've added LRS to COLTS.

Just pretend that you are driving to work at 5 am on a crisp December morning, while taking a backwoods scenic route. Ohh, how much fun is that! I mean come on’ now, that is one action packed morning, were talking about here! Laff!

I can't imagine most people would warp around in a colt. Wouldn't you have a normal ship and position the colts after pre-scouting an area? Only exception would be a truce unlim where you're not worried about turns or getting popped.

Even in a truce unlim not having holoscan is not a good thing - esp if it is one of the crazy alien edits. Most world whatever scripts require a holoscanner.

No, uhm... lol, well yea, true. Just saying that I don't understand why anyone would warp around a colt at all.

Thats what I do. I use my Havoc or CF (depending which game I'm in) to scout sectors for foreign figs and limpets.
There is a Blue guy in one of the games I'm playing in who hits so many of my figs in a COLT, like he is toodling around the universe all day in one. Makes me wonder how he can warp so blindly and waste his turns like that.

If you are using a script SST it worthless with anything under 200 holds.

Actually it just takes a bit longer... I've ran with fewer holds in stock ship unlims because the colt doesn't have a holoscanner. You will still outcash a blue.
