I have 5 or 6 game edit ideas on the backburner. The question is, is there really any need or desire for new edits? Low turn or high turn? I have some really ambitious ideas that will require a lot of time and effort. Is there a place for those? I really don't want to get into that again if no one is really all that interested in games that require some thought or a lot of setup before opening.

From the player perspective its allways nice to have new well thought out game edits. Having never been a sysop I'm kinda useless in that area.

I wouldn't mind seeing something new in the mid-turn line, 10k-12k, full 20k universe. Perhaps "balanced" for both reds and blues.

How about:

1,ooo turns (w/ 2.5k maximum banking)
5,000 sectors
All ships 1-2 TPW (except: ships with an IG make 5-TPW and 1 to 2 other ships with a DBONUS/IG make 15-TPW.)
500 start-up ports.
Have at least 1 red and one blue ship with IG, both very costly to obtain.
Include a crazy bubble, one-way/backdoor set-up (create an extensive amount of them.)
Permit multiple photon firing.
Call it the: “Nucleation: Havoc Edit” (fancy word for a clustered center/mass/core of a cell or ring.)

That is just groovy! [:P]

I believe there is still a ton of untried ideas. I'd love to see more scripting-altered games, like what SupG tried to do with his Poker edit. His was a cool idea, but didn't really enhance game play.

I'd love to see some of your ideas Vader. Those edits of yours that I've studied were well thought out, and I'd love to see more like them. I'm not much of a player, but I might stick my nose in to see something new. And low turn of course... like 500 :P

New well thought out edits are always nice. I would luv to play some new low turn edits.

Any new edit that can give a choice in the playing of a game, and give others a good healthy choice in what they would like to play is always welcome, Vader you have had some good edits in the past, and am sure you will have more to come.I too am working on some more edits to try out on players as well. and now that I am settled in the new house, I can get back to working on my downloads page on my main site and hope to have a good repository of edits there, both as backup for your edits I have got from your site, and others, you never know if an isp will go down, and someone needs an edit.

I'm trying out some new edits on my site, and sofar I hear;
1 To hard to get started.
2 If you change (item inserted here) I'll play
3 My scipts don't work well unless.. (that was the point)

20 people come and check it out. 2 take it serious and play. The rest just CBY.

I'm not having good luck with edits that arn't normal, but personally that's what I'm looking for. (Something different)

I'm a new sysop, and my edits prolly do suck, but I'm trying!
