use it for what? a full time OS? pfft, ef that. it has it's uses, but permanent use isn't one imo.

Linux is a good stable server OS
If you’re after a workstation use windows less configuration stuff to worry about everything is mostly presented in dialog boxes If your some kind of big time nerd like me you might want to use x-windows in your favorite Linux flavor as a client OS on a network.
