Are you kidding? If the Anarchist's cookbook was translated into muslim, I guarantee the number of 4L(thats one gallon for those of you in the US) bottles exploding under trees would exponentially increase. Imagine the terror!!!

Hah, there is no problem in the household items kav, or else the above statement would somehow ring true.

I disagree with the american suicide bomber type. The reason being is that we're most likely for the sniper in the window, the old person and a farmers market, or just offing ourselves. When we go, we tend to go in singles. Its not part of our culture to strap a bomb to ourselves and blow 'ourselves' up. Car bomb? Yes. Driving said car bomb? oh hell no.

One of the best and worst things about the states is freedom. Its great when it work in your favor. It sucks Butt when like the gold standard, its based on faith.

In regards to where I was.
I was at home, and getting ready to go to sleep. Dietrich, a TW player ICQ'd me and told me to turn on the TV. I did so, and my first thought was ' No way.' I didnt see the first one go in, but I did see the 2nd one. I was ..numb. I couldnt believe that something like that could happen here. The numbness was replaced by rage, and anger. I posted on The email list..cause I didnt have any other outlet. My first reaction was 'nuke em'. Others started posting, and the general feeling was confusion, and anger. After a few hours, things started to calm down when we all started getting our heads back together. The anger and confusion was replaced by comprehension and understanding and just how our world had changed.

Largely, I have always felt that has been a marjo contributor to many of our problems here with the U.S., and peoples opinions of the average American by those outside of the U.S.; as every-time somebody or some group of somebodies does something daring and stupid, our first reaction is to simply “break out the nukes”, though we ourselves know there is truly no “easy” way out of any situation… unless you are very, very rich.

rofl speedy you were still up that late on a tuesday morning?

quote:You are correct Sil. But better use of resources would be to target the obvious suspects and then the others. El Al, the Israeli national airline, has been doing that for decades. The next time that an El Al plane gets hijacked will be the first time. Guess why.

exactly
while some people may get offended (oh boo hoo) atleast people can feel safe getting on a plane.

As for where I was when the events of 9/11 happened, I was in Prison, and didn't get to see the first plane when it hit the first tower, but the man on our work detail let us stop what we were doing to watch the TV and see the event as is unfolded, and we saw the second plane hit the other tower and were shocked on what happened, and we all stood in silence as the event went on and as rescue workers tried frantically to rescue as many people as they could, till both towers collapsed and came crashing down. Then the real horror and tragedy was felt by us all. Yes even the prison inmates were stunned at this site, we all felt we were violated in the worst way, and were helpless cause there wasn't anything we could do to help, I usually don't talk too much about my time in pirson, but this event is one that will be with me for the rest of my life, cause I had put myself in a place to where I couldn't have the freedom to be able to go help the people that needed some help. It also shames me to know I was in prison at the time of this as well, and inspired me to better myself to get out of prison and better myself at no matter the cost.

I still feel for the brave Firemen and Policemen who gave their lives to save those that couldn't save themselves, and to the people in those buildings that were doing the same thing to save others as well when they met their end.

Sorry to have to been in prison at a time of national event, like I said I normally don't speak of where i have been, and that is also why I haven't been in TW for a long time. I am not ashamed of being there, and make use of the experience to make sure I don't go back to that environment. I remember it well and the 9/11 event that made my decision for bettering myself to be a freeman again.
