Laff, let the 2005 awards from-here-on and forever be known as "The Dramies"

Okay guys, sorry I haven't posted in here in a day or so, got in a wreck Friday, totaled my harley cause some dip**** ran a light. I was kept in the hospital overnight for observations, due to a possible concussion. Even tho I told them I was fine. Go figure. I just got home, and am lookin over the posts for the TW Awards, and I am disturbed on some things. But I am going to answer some things here and now for some clarity on something.
(For Bob and others that feel as he posted on this)
Okay I didn't just change the best tourney runoff in mid stream for no reason, I have been researching this one when the nominations were handed to me from ender, I have been researching whether or not UTW has held a major tourney on their server from last year, and the answer to that is no. I made my decision from hours of searching and researching in my free time from work, to make sure the tourney vote was accurate, I withdrew and posted the Corp Wars to be the winner cause of the other nominations and votes on the voting site for the other legitimate tourneys that were voted on, personally I don't want any us against them attitude on how the community does things, I never liked that attitude, but it happens. I had to make a decision and implemented it, I personally don't care what problems it causes me on things, nor worry about it, I will still be here. The decision on the tourney to be withdrawn from the runoffs was mine and mine alone, not from the input of others. In my research I found only a very few servers that actually hosted any of the big TW Tourneys. Mine included, and I based my decision on these as well as the votes for the actual tourneys these servers had held.
Also it is not my place to belittle their server for getting their players to vote, and whatnot. Any of us could have done the same thing with mass ICQing and Emailing the others on our lists. My only beef was the tourney votes and runoff being accurate, and I get belittled and flaked on it from others, and cudoes from others as well, I didn't do this for a popularity thing, I did what I thought needed to be done for the fairness of the game and legit tourneys that were held.
Now to address the good ole boys attitude within TW, I don't conform to the good ole boy attitude on anything, being from Georgia and all I see that attitude a lot within our gov't here, and detest it. I really don't like being implied being in on this as well, and will make my decisions as I need to for the betterment of my server and games and TW as a whole, I am not a bias person and will never be, there are players out there that are the best I have ever seen, an some that are in the works on coming up in the ranks. These new players should be encouraged to play the game and get better, so that someday they can be tomorrows elites. I can't say for other servers but I will always be neutral when it comes to my server and its games. I also have a set of servers that I play on that believe in this as well. I will play them till I get back to how I used to play and when I learn how to use the scripts of today, I hope to be competitive to the current players and give them a fun game and run for the money.
Now for the other runoff things I have found no illegal recurring IP addys under many different names so the runoff votes for the other categories will remain, and winners will be just that, personally under the circumstances, I feel I have been more than fair on things on the voting and the runoffs, being nobody else wanted to step up and do it. I made my decisions and will stand behind them 100%.
Now as TW as a whole, we could revitalize the game more if we started organizing things and games for inter server play and tournaments that lead up to the big ones held every year. I am working on a plan to start making a inter server co-op on certain games per server and players that win and lose will move to play on another server against their best and worst and so forth till all have had a chance to play on all servers that are participating to lead up to a major tourney for true dibs on the best, these tourneys are for all who wish to compete and play and have fun, then there will be the big major tourneys we have now. We need as a whole community come together and make things better ourselves, not wait on others to do it for us.
I am posting this in the few major forums so all can see.

Actually it turned out to be good luck for once, and I get the bike paid off, laff. And get it fixed in the process. All the gear on it still works, and all I gotta do is get a new frame.
That costs about $800 t0 $2000. Depending on how custom I want to go with my bike.

Glad your doing good Vulcan. LOL, ya say all it needs is a frame like your just replacing a broken headlight or something. Hey, though I hope you didn't forget about 500 you still owe me, with your concussion and all. [:D]

BTW, you can’t really compare a political voting campaign to this type of a voting process. j/k
Case in point, and this has nothing to do with vulcan or anyone else but just in general. When i went to vote on the runoffs cause i was asked too [i never vote for tw's awards really could care less i play tw's to have fun not to win or vote for others to win awards], i had to create a name/pw using my email address at hotmail. Took me 60 seconds to get it seutp and vote.
Now, i know theres really no easy way to stop this but i could have easily created 50 accounts using different email address's to alter the voting pool but i'm not lazy or lame enough to attempt such a thing nor do i hope anyone else was.

True LT that it would be easy to do this, I will finally be posting the winners info on the forums and on a my main site this weekend. I have finally recovered enough from my crash to finally finish things up. Sorry everyone that it took so long, had to do a lot of therapy and all, but okay now. I should be starting back to work next week, and I will be glad staying home on meds is driving me crazy. Heh.
