LOL. Cuz DF hates it when people talk about him. Not my fault you guys only hit figs in the
afternoon and early evenings. I ended up making a scheduler to turn my sounds on and off
when I knew you'd be gridding. Anyway butch, I seriously doubt any of your blow-up dolls
would complain all that much if you decided to spend more than an hour at keys.

Miss it was a good game, but if your going up against Sing, you have to be atk or be able to be atk at all times of the day, thats what Sing does. To me I don't have that level of dedication, he does, thats why I said that.

sorry for the mew post but I just had to put this on..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry Vulcan but I cannot accept your arbitrary ruling about this category.
Runoff for Best Tournament
Corp Wars
41% [ 31 ]
Ultimate TW
58% [ 43 ]
Total Votes : 74
As you can plainly see from the votes, Ultimate clearly won by a wide margin and we did run a Tournament in 2005, which is the time period that this vote covers. I cannot allow you to T-Edit the results just because you don't like the way the voting turned out.
It is inappropriate to MODIFY the category requirement on the last day of the 3rd Round of Voting from "Best Tournament" to "Major Tournament" and make that a NEW CONDITION! The category is clearly described as "Runoff For Best Tournament" and that's what people voted on! And that is a purely subjective choice on the part of the Voter and applies to every single category of this election.
Respectfully,
Sage Razz
----------------------------------------------------------------
Laff I still havn't seen any proof that they have ever held a turnament in the history of UT... Sage listen up man show the proof, oh wait you have none cause its all lies.... Laff

T-Edit the votes, since when did TWGS permit in-game voting? Dip-wade! I suggest we create an awards supplemental and appropriately call it the Reality Distortion Award, I officially nominate (or decree) Sage and give place my "T-Edit" vote unto him. Or as an alternative we can entitle it the “Black Hole Award” and just hope that he gets sucked into it on his own
Dude, Sage Ultimate TW ADMINISTRATOR, Sage Razz, it does not matter what it was called and changing a word in the title does not change the “CONDITION” of the category it still has to do with TOURNAMENTS something that UTW has not placed yet. Sage, realize this these awards are relative to the entire TW community NOT just the UTW community otherwise you could just do your own lamo-awards that apply to just your own server or the server of you and a closed group of servers and to any other server they would be meaningless and pointless, like a king pronouncing themselves as the prognosticator.
I am not sure what your argument is. Supposedly, 74-players voted for the CATEGORY after the title of it was appropriately changed. Do you truly believe one of them said to themselves “oh my goodness it use to be for “Best Tournament” now it is for “Major Tournament”oh darn!” Obviously this was not the case, granted this whole situation could have been avoided to begin with, what the hell do you think Tournament refers to? The Tournament Mode in the game setting? If that we remotely true then every single TWGS running would be eligible, you don’t see them crying about not being selected or even nominating themselves for that CLASSIFICATION... do ya! Also, were did you get three rounds of voting from? I only recall one round with a following tie breaker. Other than that maybe you can burn a turn at the Hardware Emporium on your server to purchase a HINT.

considering the votes were done so late in the year..we should have just skipped it all together, and did a new vote in Feb of 07 for 06. That would have solved half of y'alls problems I think.

Sigh.... I am still waiting for name of ANY Tournament game hosted at Ultimate. Any server can just change the 'Tournament mode = 0' and pretend they had a tournament as it was then a 'death limit game'. Over the years that the TW Awards have been around the definition of a Tournament (IMHO) has been in the nature of USO, WTC, BOTE, HHT, BYOC, BigGame, Lethal Lotto and a few more I might have omitted. The TOURNAMENTS were always advertised well in advance and not only on major TW2002 info servers but also with General announcements in ongoing game as well as word of mouth between corpies and rivals. Repeating my issue that I never heard or read about any TOURNAMENT at Ultimate in 2005... Sorry if I offended anyone with this post! [}:)]

[Sage]USO 2006
Start July 4th
At the stroke of Midnight (EST)
The USO has returned!
The game will be played at Ultimatetw.com[/Sage]
Ok, so after seeing this, (purely by accident), (what, honest!) ok, so there was more written, but it just got more and more pathetic so I could not bare to post it here and risk tainting EIS. Don't worry you can thank me later. [;)]
So, anyways I did some searching own my own to check on UTW's supposed past tournaments, I check their own forums, EIS forums, as well as The Stardocks. I did not locate anything at The Stardock and on EIS the closest relevant post I found about a UTW tournament was a player advising Amadeus that he missed the set bang time for a League Tournament he had prior planned, there was no further posts nor replies after that.
In their own forums I found only 2 relative posts the first being a plan by Amadeus to get a team together and play in a USO tournament being held on another server around Feb of 2004 and the second being a scheduled League Tournament to be held on his own server at the end of Jan of 2004, although it appears of it might have been cancelled, judging from the lack of posts in their own forums and the posts made in EIS at the time; there seemed to be some large upraising of players upset with UTW gaming procedures and what have you. That is all I found though, so for whatever that is worth, that about wraps er’ all up!
Oh yea, I almost forgot the moral of the story and the thought for the day, if something was never at a certain location to begin with, how can it ever return back or be returned back to that location; as it was never their to begin with? FC will somehow probably discover the answer to this fallible riddle. j/k [:)]
