I always have wondered how applesauce got paired up with pork chops?

Porkchops and applesause, I can explain in a very simple story:
In the early 1700's, the 'english', brittish, celtics, and several other nations used to have huge feasts, not only as royalty, but as a family as well. People in some countries still practice these arts now and then (see dictionary: Canada).
Now, in the 1700's one of the largest animals that was cheap to bread, feed, and eat, was of course the pig, or warthog (wild, see brittish). The hog or pig was roasted over a fire for small families, or generally cooked dutch oven style for royalty. The pig was most often stuffed with... You guessed it, apples. The apples tend to mosten, and sugar up when cooked, adding loads of flavor to the meat, the pig was most often served with a fresh (not cooked) apple in it's mouth.
One day, still in the early 1700's, I think it was King Edward the second (Blatant lie, but it could be) was king, his son, Edward the Third was questioning some of his fathers battle tactics and governing strategies (we know that is true). King, and Father, angered by his son questioning his authority, raised up from his seat, drew his sword, and chopped their dinners head in half (The pig), as Edward the Third always chewed with his mouth open, bits and peices of apples flew from the shimmering sword, into his mouth, with peices of the pig.
Amazed by the taste of this pig and fresh apple, Edward the Third always demanded crushed apples with his pig thereafter. This soon spread throughout the kitchen, to the countrymen. Now, it is a tradition. Some of you from England know, your "Fish and Chips" are equivilant to our "Cheeseburger and Fries" as a staple food for all generations. The same is true still today with the Pig and the Turkey.
Pork chops and Applesause have been around longer than King Edward himself.
We know that Porkchops and Applesause were NOT at the last supper... Jews don't eat pork. So, given a little history lesson, this is about the best answer I can come up with... And, isn't it simply amazing that I spelled Applesauce wrong the entire post? (note, this has not been edited, wanted to see how many would actually catch it.)

Well thanks for that story, it was entertaining, while also being very informative… or shall I just say it was a “fruitful” story! hehee!

Segue back to the off topic--Bobby Brady did the 'PorkChops & Applesauce' with some 'Bogey back in the 70's on the Brady Bunch..-trivia

And to wrench this dog back on track, WildStar, your scripts ROCK! I love the Mover and prolly couldn't go back to life w/o it.
Thanks
