Umm. Seeing as how I have no clue who you are or how old you are, saying you've been playing since you were 12 doesn't mean anything to me, and I'm not even certain it's a relevant comment.

I mean c'mon - where do you see 'here i am show me some respect damnit!'. I signed up as an alias (that nobody knew), and as a joke i posted on the forums 'i was picked last gg'. I was immediately attacked by Stockton, and I fired back in turn. How is that stirring things up? I have never demanded or asked for acknowledgement of my skills - the people that I played with were confident in my skills and loyalty as a teammate, and that's all I needed to be happy. Along the same lines, I didn't really care whether other people thought I was good, bad, average, or whatever. This whole line of argument of 'you think you're awesome' has always been a misconception - for as long as I played it. Let me be clear. I am in no way saying or insinuating that I am or was a good player. What I have been saying to specific people is 'You Suck'. And I'm right. There's nothing that people hate worse than someone who insults someone else and is RIGHT about it too. So naturally, it garners some dislike. But w/e. ExCon - I honestly never heard of you before, and I honestly never cared what you thought (naturally). While the first part of that statement is no longer true, the second part is. You can say I had a big mouth - and hell, you are right - I don't lie, and my play has always backed up what I said. That's more than can be said for a majority of players (back then and today).

Astonished?!? HA HA HA HA. Now, keep in mind that I wasn't gonna play at first, but I got asked. Anyway, I got in a bit late. As I opened the TWA in my TWGS and saw what the resale value of the pods was, I asked Rev if he would set the Radiation Clear to 1 day. He replied back to me something along the lines of "it's out of my hands now" or something. I doubt I could dig it up, unless it was in e-mail. But that's how I knew, cause there was more than enough time for a change. With the 2.5 odds on the Rex, and the 2.0 odds and 120k figs on the ISS...Heck, I think you guys did it with the CFS IIRC.

And now that I look back on it, I think it was more like an hour or so, not 30 min. It just SEEMED that quick. heh.

mags, im sure everyone realized i didnt mean every single person in this thread or on eis dislike dida, several people have attacked him in one way or another so i did see a trend and noted it and overstated it at the same time...

I'll make this short, and semi sweet.


Those of us who remember dida, remember a kid who had fast fingers and a large mouth. Much has changed, you can tell by his posts that his fingers are slowing down, and he can now swallow his own head. Not a big deal. Dida was never a "great" player by anyones standards, he did his job, and because of his team, won alot. He could never survive solo, and after awhile, stopped trying, and eventually quit. Some of the greats are known because they could single handedly rip a team to shreds. He is not one of them. (I hope that answers your question excon) He was a good player, and was often on great teams.

Dida, I am grim reaper, aka grazhoppa. Players that have never been to EIS or the Forums know who I am. Sadly, you will never have that status. Great player am I? No. Not in my own opinion, I have had more screwups than any one of the members of the bush family. Do I think a personal attack on you is warrented? Nope, your just a res jr. You cannot help the fact that your medication no longer works. However, I will tell you, you can ask ANYONE that plays with, or against me, the strats I come up with are fantastic, and stockton, one of todays best killers (not the most skilled, but one of the best) Will agree, that it sucks playing against my team, no matter who's on it, he'll catch a pod (Usually on day one)

I know I'm not the best, by far. I know my team usually has the most skill, and leadership.. It's a combined effort, and I get bored easy (I hate long games) But you sir, do not have the talent to call me a no skill hack. I'll leave that to the real players of this game.

As a representative of Big D's team in the game, I can only say, 1 player short, 2 players short, 5 players short, we're a team. You dida, are an individual, and will be easily destroyed.

Loc, as Graz explained, thsoe skills were only good so long as he had the Elites of Old backing him up, otherwhise, I seriously doubt anyone took him seriously when he went solo, i mean come on, no one takes me seriously when I am solo,

Personally i believe getting picked the way he was, is as fair as it could have been.

Traitor - you and I have never really gotten along, for whatever reason. My main complaint was that you guys were like the Terell Owens of TW. Good players, but not good sports. Never said you guys sucked. Heh. Been spanked enough times to know. I just wish most of you guys had shown more class. I don't think you would have won any less.

Dida.., I think ur a swell guy I wish to point out that i didnt belong on your top 10 players list BUT should be on the top 10 old (OLD!) school list.. All this changed however when you were complicit in CHEATING in Big Game..This was troubling to me at the time..Since then i have come to terms with OZ and others involved ...anyways old news...

I think I was so pissed off about USO4 not because you guys trashed the place, but upon reflection, I think it was 'cause I saw it coming long before bang, and there was NOTHING I could do about it. That drove me nutz.I was pretty upset..I personally believe..,,this one act..,, cost TW many players and some momentum.I thought that the strategy was awsome...BUT this game of TW was Damaged by this particular act at this particualr game. heh. I think I even warned a few other corps about what you guys were probably up too in the days before bang. I couldn't even get my corp to consider it. (Seriously, I was pushing for it the week before bang, but was voted down. Not that the corp I was in could have pulled it off in like 30 min or whatever. I figured it would take about an hour, 90 min on the outside. But you guys had what? 3-4 hard-core scripters with time to burn?) I laugh about it now.

In my time, I was very good. I have beaten many TW legends in their prime, fought others to a standstill, and gotten whipped by quite a few too. I've always considered myself right at the cusp of being an elite. If I had had more time, I probably would have been.

And yes, I'm sticking to helping out new players and TWXProxy development for now. It's far more rewarding.

Speaking of development...how about sending me what you got on Drop? I'd love to look under the hood.

I can tell you why they blew up dock in that game. They were scared that DU actually finally all their players on the same team. CK bit the dust early on and I knew they were in trouble. Then poof, game over. Of course noone in DU thought about blowing dock because we liked playing the game more than winning I guess. I honestly think those guys were bored with TW when they did it. They had won so many games and there were no permas in the game that could even remotely challenge them. Too bad we never got to try with our whole team of turns players (this was after Blue Adept/Timbo joined our ranks and the only major he played with us). I do know that is a big part of the reason loki and I left the game. It had simply become not fun anymore.

I feel like i'm at a reunion for old veterans of the TW wars, and a "how to" talk bad smack. WTF? Pages 3 and 4 of this post are way to funny. I have nothing but respect for Dida, BC, Bud, hell even Stockton, but perhaps you guys should just kiss, make up, go on about your ways playing Eve or WoW, and maybe a little tw. Looking foward to mass ship delay, hope to see you all there.
