Couple things. They land before the wave goes off, and 2: Why the hell do you need to pbust? Hit 10 ports. Thats 500 exp. Games aged 100 days. Get grid and exp right off the bat. MUST conserve turns! Laugh. 10 mill start and mobile planets. Up it, mega it, and rob it. Bang. Not everything involves Stardock and Pbusting. Oh, for the negative alignment? Kill off the colos on the planet. Sigh. Kids these days.

Ptorp & pdrop scripts have really advanced lately tho. But then again, everyone will have the same problem in the game, so there will be no advantage. We'll just have to deal with it best we can.

I believe Alexio is right every set of edits I have seen for BG has had ship delay on last time BG was played was 2004 and the scripts we had then were not much different then now.

All said and done ship delay has never been one my favorite game settings when i was active.

I also think if the CEO's were ok with it when they signed up there should be no reason to change it.

You know its been so long since Big Game 1 and 2 I forgot if ship delay was on. I'm with you fellas, heh, whatever, i'll play, it will be fun

To answer the gridding / no planet warp delay ive decided to include a Gridding ship....

Part of the reason i liked ship delay was because scouts didnt move at the same speed as colonial transports.

the more turns per warp the slower the ship.......

SO ive added a 1tpw ship capable of gridding

The delay will be set at 1/4 this effectively accomplishes my goal AND should ease the pain of people who are a fan of Gridding.

With the 1 tpw and the 1/4 delay i think all parties will be satisfied.

I think this is a very good idea and really only one of a few options we have to get around this problem. I also like ship delay. I always did. It slows the game down the way it was originaly meant to be played. I really think with no delay, we're losing part of the game.
