 Connecting to TWGS

Hi,

OK, stupid question. I have just purchased TWGS and want to sent up a server. I did this many many years ago but for the life of me can't seem to figure it out anymore.

I installed it into a windows XP machine with a static IP address and into the folder it suggested. What kind of helpers do I ned to get going.

Is the static IP address a public one or a private one?
Do you have a router between your Cable or DSL modem?
