I'm wondering if someone can tell me why an edit would do the following- it was an edit that was made from scratch.. It does this alot and in each re-bang and to many many sectors. Also this is when avoids are cleared.

ubSpace Ether Probe loaded in launch tube, 13 remaining.
lease enter a destination for this probe : 7704

** Error - No route within 45 warps from sector 3591 to sector 7704

ubSpace Ether Probe loaded in launch tube, 13 remaining.
lease enter a destination for this probe : 7708

** Error - No route within 45 warps from sector 3591 to sector 7708

ubSpace Ether Probe loaded in launch tube, 13 remaining.
lease enter a destination for this probe : 7723

** Error - No route within 45 warps from sector 3591 to sector 7723

ubSpace Ether Probe loaded in launch tube, 13 remaining.
lease enter a destination for this probe : 7740

** Error - No route within 45 warps from sector 3591 to sector 7740

Do an cf to those sectors. If you can get through, your TWX database might be hosed. Happened to Maniac in Xenogears game recently. He was using Oz finder and kept getting 2 sectors to fig when he knew better. He logged of, made a fresh database, logged back on and it worked fine.

That is a cf, not a ztm. And obviously the path is 45 hops. Either the length was changed after bang or these sectors have no warp in (no sector has it as an adj). The question is: What causes it?

yes what Singularity said [ what causes it? ] - The warp length is set to 45 hops thats abvious in the paste above. The game was not messed with after rebangs- This happens each time it is reset. Can't be twarp'd, pwarp'd or ewarp'd to. BTW.. this happens to all the players on this edit. not just one particualr player.

What version of tradewars is running on the server?

There was a bug in the older versions that causes bubbles to be broken off from the rest of the universe I believe if had something to do with having gold bubbles turned on.

Also, if the game was banged with a max course length set to 45 then changed to 30 later would also cause the same problem.

45 hops

Ver# 3.13 Gold

The game is always banged with course length set to 45 and has not been changed during the game.

Thought of this talking with Zentock last night, have MD write a quick script to map a known isolated sector looping in the CF from 1 to SECTORS, then back from that sector. It could be that the sectors are connected, but just out of your range. Or it could be that they are completely isolated from the universe (either alone or in a bubble) The question is... are there any adjs at all to those isolated sectors?

They all sound like reverse black holes, I had some on my server on one edit, they can be re edited later in T edit, but that is a major pain in the rump, you can look at them in T edit and see if they have connections out and if they have any in, if you show connections out to a sector, and then check that sector to see if it connects back, if it doesn't then it is a reverse black hole, it lets you out but not back in, if that makes sense to you. You have to create new paths to and from other sectors, and in the numbers you are showing having these reverse black holes it will be a major pain to interconnect them all. Then you have to test the warp paths to make sure you have them right too.[xx(]

The problem has been around for a long time sinc ver 55 or so. It will only or usually only when you have it set to have bubbles and most time but not all when the tunnel is to long. The real only cure at this time is to bang the game and not have any bubbles. I have never had the problem without bubbles
