i played a game awhile bk that only had 5 planets in it, How was this done? also it has been awhile since i created a game account where i as the game syn op could go in and cim and get all the data, and i've forgoten how. [:(][:(]

Could have been alien planets or placed there by the sysop then he disabled g-torps.
As for the rest of the question I’m not sure what you mean.

Jabezz
Go to the editor, select "U" from the menu. When asked for "user number", give it an unused user number. Then select "initialise player". You can then give a player name, and give that name "observer" status. Log in as that player. When you go to CIM, all warps and ports will be displayed.

the game only had a selection of 5 planets total. there are usually 7 or more. in the planet editor i do not see a place where you can turn off the basic planets.

Ohhhh you meant you only want 5 classes of planets available in the game.
Yea there’s an option to make a planets inactive I believe you have to have gold options enabled when you bang the game in order to edit this option.
If I’m wrong can someone correct me.

Speed you are right, you have to have the gold version and you can then modify the ones to any variation of the 5 classes listed and turn them inactive or active.
