Here is a important question that should have been asked already. What is the future of CK Combat Scripts?
As it stands now, CK Combat Scripts require that you have a CK license to use them. Even then the CK Combat Scripts also
REQUIRE a TWX Proxy registration.
Since the auth. server are down, v2.02 can not verify the authenticity of the registration. So, will CK Combat scripts work then? That would depend on how Cherokee coded the license portion of his scripts.
But, what about v2.03 final and new. Since this/these version(s) no longer require, nor have the ability to use, registrations. What would that do for all those people that use, or should I say 'rely upon', CK Combat scripts? Are they now SCREWED!!!
This should really be a question for Cherokee. But, it is a question that still needs to be asked.
FYI: I was just at The Lost Tavern to see if there is any possible news about this. And the only news he has posted about his scripts. Was posted on March 15, stating that he has recompiled all of the CK scripts for V2.03. There is no mention of the License.
In Fact!!! Upon re-reading the Terms of Use that he has listed on the site. It's still the CK Scripts Terms of Use that was last updated on 5/15/2003.

A. CK Public Scripts are provided free of charge, and may be copied and

A. "CK Combat Scripts" require the purchase of a CK License, AND they
require a TWX Proxy Registration. I am not interested in selling a CK
License to anyone who has not already purchased a TWX Proxy

Addendum item G, no refunds will be given for any reason, even if you

useless in future releases of CK Scripts.

Based on this paragraph alone, and since there is no news from Cherokee on this. I would say that everyone that has purchased CK Combat Scripts, just got SCREWED!!!
As for those that were wanting to get CK Combat scripts, but had not done so. Well, depending on your point of view. This could be good news, or it can be bad news.
On one hand, you did not fork over money for scripts that might not work now.
But on the other hand... You will not be able to get what is considered to be the best Combat scripts publically available.
