Ok so I'm kinda new at this whole.. Playing Blue/hunter/Gridder... I recently downloaded Rammars Public script of twarp gridder... Bascialy just have one question... is there anyway to tell the script to go to undefine amonuts of sectors instead of say typing 111,112,113? or is that the way the scripts works.. if you want it to grid then you have to put in all sectors manually.. oh btw... I have a full ztm.. how would input this into the scrpit as well.. Thanks

It has the feature to look at the twxproxy ztm or the nav computer when you hit go. So that's where the ztm comes in. Other issue about it automatically gridding to my knowledge no. You can input it when you start the script or you can have it read from a file, takes a while but you can get your unexplored sectors and put it in a file the same as twx is in seperated by enters so if you copy paste it you'll need to change it from this 111 112 113 114 to
111
112
113
114
It would make it easy if you could change all the spaces into an enter if there is a way to do that i don't know it. I hope that helps and if not hit me on icq my knowledge is limited but i'm always almost willing to help, and if i can't help you i'll direct you to someone who can.

why grid if you dont define where you are gridding <grin>
as for using the nav computer... i think that is only his path blast, i havent seen that option in his twarp gridder (course i always have a ztm, heh)
as for "implementing the ztm into the script"
it works like this
your ztm script plots nav points all over and gets a pretty accurate map of the universe (ie: all the warps)
when it is doing this, twx grabs that information as it see's it and builds a map. the ztm script gives twx data to work with.
once twx has that data, other scripts (such as a gridder) can draw on that data as needed straight from the twx database. you dont have to do anything. except maybe thank the scripter who wrote the script

wildstar33@hotmail.com.
If I decide not to play anymore when I get back from my TW break,I might just share everything I have.Dont know yet.Butr I am shareing lots of non share scripts now.SO..........

Thanks for the help in responding guys. You can use an input file for your target list but it does read them in a column. For if you have a file like: 11 12 13 14, all on one line then it will only read the first sector in that row (11). It will read them all if its setup like:
11
12
13
14
The next version works with spaces in the filename and has the option to randomize the target list. It should be out soon. Thanks again for the help in replying.

I would have to look but I if I remember correctly rammers twarp grider will do random surrounds. Not sure if that’s what you are looking for or not.

You have to put in the full path to the file.
c:\twproxy\blocked.txt
Just change the above to match the path of directory where the file is located on your computer. I usually just put any sector list I use for griding in the root directory makes it easy and quick to enter the file name. c:\grid.txt

If you have MS Excel you can cut and paste the unexplored sector list from your helper window or log file into Excel. Then select the text to columns option from the data menu. This will break out the sectors into columns. From there you can cut and paste columns 2 - 11 to the end of column 1. Save the resulting single column to a tab delimited text file and you're all set.
