You probably didn't put in the quotation marks somewhere... or parenthesis. You should use a text editor like TextPad and setup a Syntax file, then its easy to see where you've missed quotes, as well as the line numbers for debugging. It differentiates TWX commands from text and headers and quotes, etc. using different colors. Post your email if you'd like a copy of the Syntax file for TextPad.

Also, you should write and test routines. Don't write a 400 line script and try to debug it. Instead, write a 25 line routine and verify it works, then copy it into the main routine. Makes life a lot easier.

His accual problem on THAT line, was the variable, lots of other problems with his script, I gave him some "almost finished" examples, and let him figure it out, helped him along the way.

Okay, posting an email address is a bad idea. But if you want to message me here, I'll send over the syntax file for TWX Proxy. Is TextPad the bomb, or what Graz?
