Me and a friend are looking to pick up development on J-TWAT. I'd like to take a poll of what features you think should be added. Also, if anybody who happens to know java and is willing to donate a hand to the pool to making this tw2002 helper better, then please let me know. I want to make a decent free tw2002 helper and I also seek to integrate jtwat into a webpage interface so that it can be used without having to install software on a client computer (I.e. anybody with java can have a helper thru the web).
Email with suggestions or if you want to help the project: herzogwilybot@hotmail.com

1. I don't think you'll get to many ppl wanting to help. Not to many ppl use java. They all like to us PHP or Perl. And that is fine. But, I personally fine that java is more universal. Plus you can do more with it.
2. The current version is currently capable of being intergrated into a webpage. It just take a little, okay alot, of work to get it done. And working correctly. Especially if you don't have a webserver with java setup.

Well, fortunately the webserver issue is not a problem. At any rate, I am about to post an announcement on my webserver for J-TWAT Development/Integration (eventually, and yes, indeed a lot of work) as well as game stats and edit statistics. The webpage is under heavy development atm though, so there are incomplete areas.

In my opinion taking on J-twat development is a major deal since what it really needs is a complete rewrite of all the code from scratch, basicly write a whole new helper that actually WORKS like its supposed to. The current code is a hack job at best and not worth trying to work with.

If your still bent on working on the existing code I can give you a list of problems that need to be fixed and a list of suggestions or modifications that would be nice to see. Badboy was at the point of doing a complete rewrite of the code to streamline it and clean it up and fix as many of the bugs and problems as he could find. Dont know if he started on the rewrite or not but if he is still interrested in seeing it done I am sure you guys can work togeather on it. Let me know and I can make up a list of all the problems I have found with it and changes I think should be made.

Make a stand alone app using C++. the amount of data management etc to provide true helper ability does not seem feasible to me in a browser since browsers by nature have quite limited permissions on their java vm's.
