In playing several games I have noticed when mapping the bubbles seem to not be there. If I were to close the bubble gate and try to move to Terra it lets me move. If it was a bubble it would not let me right? Anyone else having this problem?

First off, the way to test for a bubble is to place an avoid in the gate then try to plot a course into the bubble. If you do it your way, it just may mean there is a 1-way out. That being said, I've never been overly impressed with the accuracy of swath's ztm.

I find the swath buble finder the best, because you can define any size of bubles and check them in the MAP feature of swath [:)]
where else can you look at a real map and right click to launch eprobes , or move there , or see ports without the use of turns [?]

Ok , back to subject .. bubles , when you have located a buble gate set your aviods for that sector , then plot a course from tera to the back of your buble.
If it reached the back , well it isn't a secure buble.

Remember , to check for secure buble you plot from outside of buble (tera is good for this) to the back .. not the other way around [:)]

Also remember to keep each game data seperate , so you don't end up with currupt data.

Also be sure to reset the helper then re run CIM if you are playing 2 games on the same server. SWATH, i have noticed tends to hold the CIM data from one game into the next. In fact i've sean this happen even when loading a totaly new server/game in SWATH. So if i am playing multiple game i ALWAYS reset the swath then hit the CIM again. So sectors 100 200 300 400 that are bubble in one game do not show as a bubble in the next.

The only way Swath will do that is if you use the same database with all the games you are playing. You need to set up different game databases for each one even if they are on the same server. I have never seen this happen in Swath if it is being used correctly.
The ZTM has always been great when I use it and it runs faster than some of the others. TWX is ok and fast but doesnt give you any kind of mapping capability unless you use it with another helper. J-twats mapper sucks big time, its so slow I have to take vacation from work to run it and the map is the crappiest I have ever seen. Dont know about Attac but it cant be any worse than TWAR.

It's a good helper for someone who is new to the game... and with custom scripts it can become very powerful. It's not that the ztm is inaccurate, just incomplete. It only gets 96-98% of the warps in the game. It tends to put bubbles on teh bubble list that don't really exist.

I will agree in part with that, it is incomplete if you dont use pass 3, most people either dont use it or dont know how or what to set it for. It is possible to get a 100% ZTM with Swath. The biggest problem is people rely on ZTM too much, I dont know of any others out there that can get a 100% accurate ZTM either. There will always be 1 ways or dead ends that are not found depending on the twisted mind of the Sysop, I tweak my games slightly for the sole purpose of making the ZTM less effective so people actually have to Play the game to verify their database. It will always give you a pretty close representation regardless and that is all it was intended to do.

Let's take an example of a 5k sector universe. It is possible to get a ztm missing 3-6 warps in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The warps it misses are tight loops. Thinks like A warps to B and C. B warps to A and C. C connects to the rest of the universe. It will miss the warp between A and B most of the time, unless it just happens to get luck and plot that specific pair. All it takes a void-pass ztm like twx pack one ztm does to get this degree of accuracy.
