press cntrl alt delete when running yer helper and right click on the helper like swath.exe and set the priority higher, that *should* make it run faster

XP suck? I just recently duel installed it on what was a 98se machine. Impressed so far. Doesnt seem to run much slower then 98 and is more stable. Got a 750 thunderbird with 256mb tiny bga kingmax memory and radeon 8500 64mb. Though i do have some memory size problems. Could probably use to double that memory.

Theres some things i dont like about it too. Mostly the lack of options. XP seems to be even more bossy and designed for technophobs with everything hiding under a stupid facade then 98. But its still a better OS then win9X. Personally plan to try out linux sometime. When i can find the money and time to buy and install partition magic so i can duel boot it.

In the words of Fat Albert... "Hay-Hay-Hay!"

You have available options at your finger tips. First. If money is not too serious an issue and its just a matter of the cost of high priced Partition Magic that scares you. Buy Mandrake's Linux Standard. Its equiped with a dual booter that partitions for the cause and is easy to get underway. If your downloading Linux (gotta love the freedom of trial) then also pick up these other *excellent* applications to perform the transformation. First...

Partition Resizer is a powerful parition manager and combined with XOSL as the booter, you have everything you need to run multiple OS at little to zero cost. [;)] Partition Magic 8.0 is an excellent piece of software but your not losing anything not choosing it. I have them all and after recieving PowerQuest's Boot/Magic, I couldn't get over the price tag they boast necessary. XOSL is an awesome booter..you atleast gotta give this one a try if nothing else. Goodluck! Let me know what you decide on and/or how it goes for you.

Do you have TCP/IP installed? Go to control panel, network, and make sure you have tcp/ip protocol installed and bound to your network card.

No, if you scroll back and look at the dates you'll notice only 1 new player. But that player added his
own little spam link into the quote box.
