Might anybody know of a script to either pick up the toll figs or collect the tolls from the figs?????

I wondered why anyone would want it then and I'm wondering the same thing now. Just can't believe 2 people would want this.

There is no possible way you could make enough from toll figs that it would be worth more then the turns you are burning to pick them up... or if you are in an unlim the time you are burning.

Could you explain why you want to do this?

Cause I was stupid and droped toll figs all over the place, And when I log in in the morning there 50 opages of messages from the figs....

having lots of toll figs deployed is a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.

If you don't like all of the messages, just hit "A" and you can bypass all of them.

Slag, what you want is something to take advantage of those figs. A planet drop script, or perhaps a twarp/photon script. Both of those use the figs to your advantage by dropping in on unsuspecting victims to an adjacent sector and letting them have it. I'm sure there are some scripts like that for TWX. That's what you should be asking for.

Oh, man... was just gonna say that C-B-Y will suppress them... for a day.

There is one instance where it would be helpful, maybe, to have a toll pickup script. I have a game I am in with one other guy, and I am the CEO. He has figs in about 25% of the 5K universe. Yep.. he drops figs like pigeons drop.. well, you know. There are no evils playing, and I am itching to turn red. He rarely plays red if ever - I have never seen him play red in the 8 years he and I have played together - he says he played red once. And Slagathor, if you think the inbound messages from the figs are bad, try it with figs in over 1,000 sectors... scanning for figs runs several full screens.

So, now, all of his friendly little toll beacons will be his enemies, unless he picks them up and changes them to personal, or bites the bullet and goes red. Personally, I would leave them alone and just dance on top of them if I were him. He's a bit neater than I am... he wants to pick them up just like he picks up his dirty socks and underwear. But if he leaves them, I could use them to drop a planet on his head just for the laughs...

When I played TW v 2 in the good old BBS days I used to use toll fighters a lot. For those who didn't want an evil alignment (which they'd get by attacking my fighters), they either had to pay the toll of retreat. Every now and then when I visited the sectors where I had fighters, I could just collect the toll and have some bonus cash. No nned to make a special visit just to collect a small toll. Depends how much toll you demanded, and how many ppl viisted the sector.
