I've played on that server, and the player I am corped with told me he had experienced something he called cheating.
He told the sysop and the sysop told him that the player was using (and I quote) a "Tactical advantage".
So we started playing- and I experienced some pretty supicious activities. The alleged cheater knew where we were all the time, even though we had no limpets and were not hitting their figs. I know this guy wasn't very good, because if he was, I would have been #SD# when he pdropped me a number of times. So perhaps the "Tactical Advantage" was something extra supplied by the sysop? I'm not saying this server is corrupt, but I certainly have my doubts about its legitimacy.

I am still wondering how you can edit to get 12 million points of damage with Carbos. are you sure it was that high?

I am guessing it was more like 120,000 and not the 12,000,000 he stated. I may be wrong but 120k would be 6,000 corbs at 20 damage apiece. I am also guessing that in the heat of getting blown up by surprise, he mistook the numbers. It seems like in a lot of sub zero edits the alien ships have large amounts of corbs to make the sale of them profitable (provided you don't accidently blow the ship up and get hit with the corbs) and 6k is about right for what they have on them.

I have more of this vile crap. They had no complaints BEFORE this. As for the guy who COULDNT figure out how he got invaded he has since been informed about Photons AND Towing. I am NOT the first Sysop who has had problems with a character named Titan (possibly the same guy)

I dont like truce games they are a pain. My rules are simple 1) POST if OTHER players agree your rule or edit it will be added.
2) WE have an offensive language POSTED policy.

As an aside I happen to be Black so I took particular PERSONAL affront with the racial slurs. BUT I only banned the offenders for a few days. I refuse to take UNWARRANTED abuse. I keep careful records and save ALL emails. Any thing I can check out I will as a final note there are logs as well. So when a guy says he was hit with 12 mill CORBS after killing a pod it can be checked (And I did) he was WRONG. Maybe not intentionally but wrong. I find it very curious that once a guy gets banned for racial slurs he suddenly has all these UNFOUNDED and no proof required problems. Some of which are factually IMPOSSIBLE due to hard and fast game programming!

I agree with one thing if you dont like our server please DONT play there but if you do DON'T be rude and DON't make accusations without at least SOME evidence. (As a note EIS has a word filter but the word that was so offensive was N I * * * R referring to a black person. EIS shows it as ******

Also note that AFTER their racial slurs they OPENLY threaten to malign our server here. I geuss they have succeeded. I have a ton of their crap like this including apologies.

Oso me and Jester experienced the same thing with a guy knowing where we were.. we were talking trash to the sysop and what do you know, a player warps into the random sector we're sitting in and pods, then finds the pod in 5 seconds.

He logged in minutes after Hag Fish and Titan were banned and had the same IP as one of them used the same N word and was given the same punishment. Oh by the way HERE is that vile diatribe.

We already know that hag fish has the ability to use a myriad of IP's BUT when you use the same one as him within minutes and use the same unusual and improper language you will be exposed for who you are.

No, I was never cloaked. It was in game I with Darkangel.
And I was just colonizing, and he didn't hit at terra, he was hitting the planet I was putting colos on.
Among other place he was running at me.
And yes, I was hitting his figs when he did the pdrop. I was able to bring in a planet, and salvage everything each time.
