LOL. You ever been to a war-torn country, Exile? I have. Was an interesting experience. If you can't appreciate how good you really have it may I suggest you find someplace that doesn't have it so easy? Show some gratitude.

We have peace on North America, and much of Europe. Talk of vague ambition does nothing to eliminate that fact. I don't have roving armies raping and pillaging people outside. Again, the fact that I don't have to carry a gun or a sword to keep safe... is proof enough we have peace. We're not talking just within the walls of Rome, either. Much of the modernized world is this way. Compared to a hundred years ago... compared to a thousand years ago, indeed the world is a more peaceful place to live in. Yes, it's still brutal out there... but it's much less brutal. Peace is peace, it means not having my house blown up by an armed militia. Call it what you will, creative writing class can't spin the facts of the situation. The world has always been an evil place, the shear fact that we can sit here in our living rooms or bedrooms and talk about that from miles away proves that it's a little less evil now than before.

The media is no more controlled by "corporations" as it is controlled by the "liberal elite." It's sensationalist and oppositional. Always has been that way, it seems to work best that way.

The law of thermodynamics doesn't apply to human armageddon. Entropy won't destroy the universe for billions of years or more. Again, sensationalist language does nothing but obsfucate an otherwise obvious and clear situation. Compared to generations before we have a higher degree of peace and prosperity.

Ive been a regualar at church since the day I was born, with a strong Baptist upbringing. That being said, ive taken many comparitive religion courses in college, and being a person of an open mind and realizing that most religions tend to twist the pure message to suit human needs, I can tell you this. The bible is a guide, and helpful set of rules to see you on your way to living a better life. Nothing more. Nothing less. If you take the books in the bible in a literal sense, your way off base. People that do this tend to live there life in fear and worry. I for one think God doesnt want us to live our lives like that. No one expects you not to screw up every once and a while, not even god. What is expected is that you learn not ot make that mistake again. The most awesome thing i learned in all those courses was that 99 percent of religions, regardless of origin, share a core belief system. The only difference is the medium in which they choose to elevate their messages with. Every single one has the basic set of standards. Show love to each other, and the things around you. If you can do this, dont worry about the rest, it will come around to you eventually. The end of the world? I think its not happening soon, and it makes me wonder why human beings aree so caught up with trying to figure out when it is. Its morbid in my opinion. If you think weather is a sign, remember, the earth is a volatile place. It is consantly changing and things like hurricanes and earthquakes happen. Just remember folks, there are alot more things around you to be in awe and wonder about than there are to be worried and complacent about.

I live in Canada , probably the most relaxed and easy going country in the world right now , yet one of the most silliest one also.Our millitiary is well trianed but a do not believe we can even compare our army agiansnt America or even the UK.We have massive resources yet refuse to use them for the sake of not insulting anyone.But thankfully we do not have Switzerland invading and pillaging across our lands.I am very greatful for that , yet even in good ole Canada we have gang wars , even at times i feel the need to carry protection.What is peace? is it the lack of wars ?I believe that peace is relative to ones opinion and agenda.In my view peace will never exist , man is forever corrupted by the lust of power , therefore always at "war" with something or someone.I am not saying there is no hope , but this ignorant view that the world we live in is a utopia is silly.There is no world peace ,if that was so ,then there would be no 3rd world countrys , the wealth would be spread equally to everyone ,and no need for a millitary large enough to wipe out a few small countrys.

I really think when the end of the world comes, there is nothing we can do to prevent it. We will all be worrying ourselves silly about it till it does come. I am fairly religious and know that when the world comes some of us are going one way and some the other and some are going to be stuck in the middle for a while. All we all can do is make the most of our lives and ourselves, and pray for the best. I am not going to worry about it till that time, I am going to keep on going on with my life till it does come and then take what is delt to me, if I have done right then I shouldn't have anything to fear. Life is a preacious thing we needn't be waisting it away on what is beyond our control. But we can make the most of what time we have and try to make things a little better for us and our neighbors. As well as the strangers we meet along the way. Just my .02

Now this is just my opinion.. but I don't think the "End of Days" is really limited to "Man Kind" I think its more of an individual situation.. If I was in a wreck, fire, or Obliterated by WildStars Massive armada it would for all I know be the "End of Days". As Far as the end of mankind I think it will not be "Gods" doing it will be our own.. After all the Best and Worse thing that was given to us was Free Will we are free to make the decision to kill each other off or to save each other.

No one group will agree on what and who and when this will happen. Individual religious (or absence thereof) forbid it. Tizwit, thats an interesting theory, but as a christian, my bible tells me otherwise, ergo the first sentence.

I think it is both there Vex , you and Tiz are right in a sense.We are responsible for the end of the world ,think of it , God is nuking us because of our actions , so in a indirect way we are responsible for the end of days.But as for personal end of days experience ........well that is ...somewhat plausible but i would call those experiences "a bad day "lol.

The end is comming! I can't say when. It will happen you can bet on that! Well I hope my life will take me to A better place. Because to tell the truth I am cursed. As I like to put it cursed since birth. I just hope I can say bye to the loved ones wife and kids. Also all the friends. Life you have to live day by day take the good and bad for what its worth. I agree with what Exvex said and most of the post. Just my 2 cents. Live life to the fullest. If it happens none of us can stop it. Maybe I'll be lucky ang see the Gates. Are be some other place.
