Well, IMHO, lag is basically the same as me sitting there watching the time go by without doing anything - only out of my control. A server with lag is bad enough in an unlimited time game, but when it is costing you time (read moves) then it hurts your ability to get things done.

I agree that this is not a problem with time limit games as much as it is a server issue, but it is just one more thing to deal with.

heh I had to write a timer script over a time limit game so I could have peeps asleep after tern for a couple hours....
