When I come into a thread and see a man make an an apology like that, and you have some kid make a wise crack like he did, I was not going to let him get away with it. Little Res acts as if he has never been in an unlimited game before and he is going to trash you for doing the same thing. Does the word hypocrite comes to mind?

a while ago wildstar got kinda pissy with me for some reason or another, i was really never sure, but i do tend to try and push his buttons and give him crap whenever possible.

And exactly what does a deathmatch prove in regard to their discussion? Typically from the deathmatches I have seen and been in, the person that gets the fastest start and the first good break wins the game (unlims which are the only deathmatches I have seen also).

When someone makes a personal attack on another player, they are proving very little except the ability to trash another player and many times even that ability is suspect.

I have been playing for the past 3 or 4 years now on a pretty much consistent basis and in all that time have only met two players who I do not respect as a person. They may have skills as a player, but I would never knowingly corp with them.

I have corped with Doog in a lot of games and would rather corp with him than go against him. Regardless of what Slim says, Doog is a long way from being a noob or the other names that he has used.

As for Slim, I have to say that his willingness to help players coming into or returning to Tradewars has been impressive. Slim also seems to favor the same game settings that I do to a great extent.

We have a lot of very good Twars players in the game, but we have also lost some of the best players. The people I consider the best in the game goes a long way beyond their ability to #SD# someone - it includes the way they treat other people in the game and in the forums. Hanging trash on someone is a part of the game, but attacks of a personal nature have no part in it. Maybe it has happened, but I have never seen Jhereg, Cherokee, or Kemper3 make a personal attack on anyone. I know I ticked off Space Ghost in a game with a stupid mistake I made against his corp, but he never launched a personal attack - he had a chance to do it but didn't. Like Wildstar here, I apologized to Space Ghost and his corp and they were adult enough to accept it and write it off.

For those of you that do not understand this, it was because the people mentioned above were adults.

Now now, the proper english phrase is "more noob", not "noober." Get it right! =)
