i would agree with psion, i think, especially nowadays, most of the "best" players in a game, will play blue rather than red.
namely because i don't think there are that many "elites" left. so if you have 4 newbs and an elite on your team... do you want the elite to be only online for an hour a day till mobile? nope, you want that guy on as much as possible, ie: blue.

the hunters will almost always be blue.
blues have the best ships, blues have direct access to fedspace.
align is fixable.
in death limit it gets a little trickier, but still doable.
depending on time till mobile you have a few dif options.
just have to weigh your options.
also, its not about "reds killing blues"
you have that backwards.
its about "blues killing reds"
reds are the lifeline of the corp.
you take out their reds, they have no income.
however if you take out a blue, well, he can be replaced by pretty much anyone else on the corp (even a red in some cases)

as for xxx.cap... i guess i still use 2.02 heh, i havent messed with twx's cap file thing.
i just use the .log file.
it's saved in your twx directory, (log folder) named as gamename-date.log

Yea anymore K3 would be top dog in the CEO department followed by Traitor, Stock, Psion, Slim, then maybe myself. Oz and Alexio do not really CEO but there a lot of knowledge there and I know I’m probably leaving someone out of this statement so no hurt feelings I just woke up and still trying to get all my thoughts striate I’ll think of you later when I’m sitting by the pool.

Akor...would you please do a lot of us a favor and use a higher contrast color for your messages instead of dark green against black? With small size fonts is almost impossible to read what you have to say so most of the time I miss your thoughts. LARGE fonts work ok...but to be honest I have no clue what you are saying except through inferences reading other posts replying to you. Thanks!

I guess graphics cards are funny like that, I have that same problem at work (referring to the dark colors being hidden in the black background); although at home I can see all the colors fine.

you *can* highlight their entire post and it will become white words on a blue background (atleast for me).
of course, i agree, all the colored posts are annoying, heh.

Slim, an Elite doesn't care what color they happen to be at the moment. They are just as dangerous red or blue. They will be on-line when it benefits the team...which just happens to be anytime they are logged in. Frankly, I'd welcome a red elite, beacuse 1), I know it's rock solid income, 2), I know that they aren't going to do anything stupid, and 3) they are an added threat in addition to my existing blues.

The hunters will be whatever color they end up as from their last kill. heh. They will always tend towards blue, but the best hunters really don't care. And yes, I'd rather kill one enemy red than 2 enemy blues. Unless you kill all their blues, they can still cash, and that's bad. The ONLY thing that blues can do that reds can't is twarp directly to fed, pilot an ISS (for more than a few turns...), and visit the police station. They can do everything else a blue can. It may not be WISE for them to sit above dock and chat, but they CAN do it. Elite hunters get kills, regardless of color.

In my opinion, what makes a good CEO is someone who remains cool under fire, knows the game on a strategic and tactical level (although they don't have to know everything about everything, they just have to know WHEN to do certain things, and to be sure that someone on their corp knows HOW to do it). A good CEO is adaptable. A good CEO surrounds themselves with the best they can get their hands on. A good CEO expects perfection, but it quick to forgive mistakes when the individual learns from them. Most importantly, a good CEO keeps the game fun for their corpies.

Speaking of font color. Wow Rexx thats a little bright dont ya think?
