You have to watch 10 different news channels telling the same story. Now every story will be a bit different than the others. So after you watch all the channels and hear all the "same" stories you have to put it together and then you MIGHT get a truth out of it.
Or you can just make it up from what you heard you dad say.
Or listen to CNN and swear by it, as you seem to think people do.
Post more than 3 lines, and about the issues at hand and not just say "where you get your info, CNN?"

i didnt mean it in a bad way there are alot of people that think CNN is frontline news well its not its all glorified. iam glad u are intrested in wanting to know the truth,but u still only have a little clue till u have been there dodgeing 240bravo bullets! u must be feeling what my mom and dad and little brother were feeling when i broke the news i had to go over there too. nothing worst then hughing ur family while they r balling there eyes out (thinking this might be the last time i ever see them) thats the hards thing in the world for a mom to let her son go!!!!!! only thing that pi$$es me off is i and my family had to sacerfice, and live in fear. and ill i hear is plp posting negative this about this country the military, government the way its ran! i disagree with some of it but iam a american citzen and i stand by my coutry and back it 150%

No I have never been a war situation. No I have not watched the news too much cause it is bias and do not report "whole stories". The put on what will make them look good.
I have dodged bullets right here in good old USA. I lived in a urban area for a while in Chester PA. At least 3 times a week people were shot in the niegborhood. Bodies found all the time. And because I was a white guy in a black "hood", I feared for my family quite a lot cause we were targets of hate.
Now I do not know any Iraqi people personally. And I would probably like them if I did. I know my son will be a target of some of the muslims, Iraqi, Afghanistanies (sp?) and a horde of other peoples that we are now up against. Why are we there? There are 1000's of theories and seculations. I see it as we are there to protect and help restore what the natives see as normal life. Now Afghanistan is another story. That is a hunt. That is a payback to that country for harboring terrorists. I don't know it all. Either does anyone on here. We all have our opinions we get from one source or another.
I do THANK all vets that do thier job. I know it is not easy to leave everyone you know and love and never know if you'll see anyone ever again and if you do, will you be only a piece of the person you were when you left? Again thanks to all the VETS in all the wars.
I could I would do something to help out the VETS. All I have is my thanks and tears for them.
