You right to say that you disagree with the war/current administration was made possible by the folks like smokey and others that decided that they wanted to actually DO something to preserve that right.
I served in peacetime because I was a coward, I wanted to stay alive and with Vietnam just getting over with I thought I should get my OBLIGATION to repay my country for the rights I had over with before we got into a real shooting war.

Todays problems are in part because we think we have "rights without responsibilities". There is a large segment of our population that wants the rights that are in the constitution but are unwilling to pay anything that these entail; like voting, serving on jury duty, serving the military.
These "rights" do not come without costs and the majority of the population is unwilling to pay these costs.

Marcellus you are one of these persons so just crawl back under that rock you crawled out of and keep your big mouth shut till you can say something constructive.
