Quite a bit more than that, actually. And I frequently use the bot to control myself, much more often than my corpies control me. Its calls for CK's buydown, megga rob, adjacent photon, etc come in very handy.

I fail to differentiate between duping and a sophisticated bot, such as described. I despise the former, dislike the latter. K3 spoke to this years ago, perhaps he might again.

While its true that some players leave their bots running 24/7 and rarely play their own turns, this is far from always the case. Like I said earlier, I mostly use stbot as a big script handler, which I feel is a perfectly legitimate script function. Like any tool, a bot can be used for good or bad. It can let your corpies have you do a buydown if you are getting a snack or using the restroom, or it can let them in effect dupe you. Most things are like that though, not intrinsically good or bad. Cars are great inventions that allow us to travel much faster and easier than horses, but cause pollution and can be dangerous. So are cars bad? Not really. Like bots, it all depends on how they're used. Just my .03 cents.

Forgive my TWX ignorance, just trying to avoid a looming problem. Does this version of ST Bot work with 2.03?

Severian, he just posted the .ts version of the bot at The Grimy Trader site, with the note that it was designed for use with 2.02. However most 2.02 .ts (unencrypted) files will still work with 2.03. There can me some issues with math functions but for the most part they work the same. The real incompatiblity issue is with compiled 2.02 scripts, they will not work under 2.03. In that case the author will need to recompile the .ts file using the 2.03 compiler for distribution. Hope that helps.

It does answer the question, Thanks. I am just plain too ignorant of what TWX scripts are supposed to look like to fix anything. Thanks though.[xx(]

Feel free to post if you have questions about TWX or scripting, Severian. I'm not the only one with too much free time and a willingness to get script-geeky
