we let this person in our corp. they did nothing to contribute and got blown up in a fully loaded iss. then this person did not play for days and then comes in and wipes out our corp. of course we where not on at the time and we had 120 million credits.
game e at ice9
we had built up for about a month with no help from amy at all.
be careful of who you let in your corp. This person is a low life scum sucker.

I know and thats what hurts the most this dude was a team mate that was not playing. I tried to get him to play cause we were 2 red and we could have used a blue. He said he would help and the fist thing he did was get blown up by zyran in a loaded iss. then he lays low for about a week comes in and claims all corp stuff as personel and wipes us out with the cash mad skilzs and I had made, no help from him. A real scum sucking basturd, be warned.

Lewd, I DO hope you got with the other corps in the game and made this chump a target. I've had that happen to me and it's not a good feeling.

Here is a good question. should the sysop let this person keep playing in this game? A game where they did nothing, and I do mean nothing. I know what my thoughts are on this, Im wondering what others think.

Just reading over the topic - A dirty, low trick, but some people play that way. Unless it was set out in rules or something, they just are going to be a target for everyone that plays. Can't judge who can play and who can't - just because they play dirty.
If that was the case, then I would think people using automated scripts would be considered cheating - when someone else ( mainly - ME ) don't know how or can't use scripts. *LOL*
My two cents, anyway

Why would the sysop get involved? I guess some might play babysitter,
but that seems too involved to me. Would make a funner target for
everyone else.

As a sysop, I'd say no on him getting involved. Its beyond the scope of his duties.

as a sysop I agree, it really isn't our place to due so. I don't agree with his actions but he didnt break any rules, and he plays what he calls tactics.
again not in agreence but not the sysops problem

ok ill chime in....
On Simpleminds-twgs.no-ip.info lastnight, all i know is
Smokey, kicked ALL off corp. and gave me no reason why, he kicked us all off corp? dont know reason or why, but i worked butt off
and this is my reward.[V]
I normaly dont play on servers where this kind of Behaver goes on.
not bagging on Simpleminds, and its not the sysops fault,
but wont play there no more! there are plenty of servers I play
on where players like that dont hang out. and im asured of a clean game.

That's the whole key. Play where its "safe" and the rest will shake out over time.

then again I see the point of the player, if you don't take care the the one that keeps screwing players over you lose Darn good players off your server.... honstly it hasn't happend to me and until it does I do'nt know what you should do.

Okay. I see that point, but what about new servers / games that start up? Do those people not get any players - because the "good/decent" players are playing it "Safe" and not giving some new guy a chance?

ok im gona try not to get in a fight here.
Im well aware you sysops dish us players games for free, you pay the bills, its your dime. But sysops may or maynot relize you would have no server if it wasnt for players, its a two way street. we want games, you want players. and im in no way telling you how to run your servers. but as a player I exspect the sysop to be aware of what is going on his or her server. be attentive. come into game and ask how's it going. i know some of you do, but most dont! look into
probs a player brings up, weather it needs you to edit or not.
as a player i go to servers where I can get ahold of the sysop, for whatever reason. mostly just to BS. and I shy away from ones that dont. if a sysop dont care about me, why should a give a dam about them. I have a hand full of servers I play at. for the simple reason
I like their server. and the reason I like them is because thay are on the ball when it comes to players. I can care less if you want ME on your server or not. but you should be asking yourself why am I not playing on your server? im just speaking in general, and not saying this is because of any one server. im just saying whats on my mind.
