Recruiting players for games ain't so easy now is it? *g*
You worned me. I don't remember when I didn't know much that I was so stubborn about learning new things. I admit I am a noob; I did then too. Why do they feel insulted? You have to start somewhere.

Akor,
I would think you'd want to join this if you don't know anyone...that way you meet more people to play with, get games going with and all. Heck I don't even know half these names on the list, and i've been playing almost 2 years now. You need to tell your friends this is a great way to learn the game and the best way to do things. The information you can get out of these type of games is amazing.
I've been playing for sometime there. I enjoy playing in noobs game since I can relax. I can also enter a game where most are noobs about any time...unlike where they are a lot of good players in it. Example: Alien Base's Game E rebanged about 10 days ago, but Dr. Doog has already taken over. I enter the noobs game when it was about that old and prospered (not to mentioned to have ships who have lived long).
That is what I am amazed about and want to learn how to do: to take over the universe in a few days. Never could, even when corped 10 years ago when I played locally.

Well everyone we are now up to 70 players.
Registration will be closing in 4 days on Sunday June 5 at 6pm PST.
Shortly after registration closes the CEO’s will be picking teams if there is anything you want to add, or change on your registration or if it turns out you signed up and will no longer be able to show to the game. Now is the time to let me know please send an email to corpwars@tw-foundation.com explaining the change you want to make.
You can also email any new registrations to the same address.

Please don't post the draft order. I don't like being the one of the last persons picked. It's humiliating.

I agree about not posting the pick order. But not because it's humiliating or whatever. I just think that if you really want to know, ask your CEO.
Often times the CEO's will pick people based on their availabilty and their reliability. I'd rather have a guy who could be at keys 12 hours a day every day, than some hot elite that can only spare an hour a day, and with no set schedule. Big games like this require consistancy as much as skill.
If you were picked later, then it's likely that either you have a crappy schedule (like me), or the CEO knows nothing about you. If you didn't write a book about your abilities in the signup, and you are a low key player, how are the CEO's supposed to know whether you are a good pick or not?
So, I wouldn't view it as humuliating...I would view it like you didn't sell yourself very well. (or maybe you sold yourself TOO well, heh)

Kaboom, first off, if your drafted last the CEO's have bumped their head, and who ever does pick you will have a force to be reckoned with. I vouch for you, which isnt much.
Myself, I look back the other big games, and I wonder if I will go higher than 32 or 41, so while some may view it as humiliating, I view it as a way to judge how good I've become to the community, then again, their still are those who like to call me the biggest noob in trade wars, but will see...
Want we?
