Kemps right, I'd rather have a bigger team with a few more peeps who can put in the time to help everybody learn what they need.

Is there a .twa publicly available with the current Corp Wars settings? I would love to try it before the game starts on a private server so that i can at least know whats going on to a small extent.

I'll back K3 up on that. You need people at keys 24/7 in a game like this. And a CEO needs people he can depend on when he can't be there. It is a two edged sword.

1.) It is hard to manage 25-30 people without good support
2.) If you don't have good other people to help newer players, 12-15 is also rough.

Assuming, that the skill level of the players that sign up will go something like this;
Elites - Less than 5%
Veterans - 35%
Noobs - 60%
(I'm guessing, based on past history and current sign-ups)

Most big game/Draft CEO's tend to split their resources down the middle, with half of the skilled players overseeing Blue duties and the other half organizing the cashing machine. Although it is not uncommon to stack the Hunter/Gridder responsiblitly and have mainly noobs cashing, you sacrifice dollars for game control.
So Kemp has a very valid point. It may be in the best interest of the CEO's (Burn out/Stress) to have one less corp with more people on each team, so that you can off-load duties.
It takes a very unique person to succesfully CEO a game like this. This isn't like running a 5 man corp, Good luck to all 3 (or 4 if that what it is) CEO's.

Vader never publicly released the .twa file. Also, right now Vader is almost imposable to get a hold of. I know that a few sysops out there have a copy of the .twa but they should ask before giving it out to anyone. If one of those sysops wanted to open a game with the edits so people can log on and take a look there more then welcome to. I would do it myself but not even I have a copy of the .twa.

After teams are picked your ceo will have around 3 weeks to get with you and answer any questions you might have about the edits.

We are not even considering a 4th corp. at this point we barley have enough people for 3 corps.

Man 30 is good, but lets get 50 or so! All of you noobs are welcome to come on in, I know some of the better players in the game that have made their name in Corp Wars and Big Game. Stockton, and Zarkhan aka Dark Druid, just two examples of those who have came ALONG way since begging their dynasty in a draft game like this.

Please new people, invite your new friends, and elites, lets keep harassing our friends to come.

Personally I would love to see Snow White, Father Cajone, Zep, Uncle Sam, Overkill, etc. Lets harass them on ICQ

ok we have like 33 sign ups so far, AS far as TWLInks that Zosa Mentioned, that was Phoe6e I think, aka Hekate, The terra server went down a while back, not sure about the website. But I could add stuff like that to mine, and any links anyone wants added is no biggie.

River Rat has my permission to run TCW. It is my wish that anyone else that has the .twa to NOT distribute it to ANYONE. I also would appreciate if no one else other than RR ever run those edits. We are up to 42 people now I know BG last year had about 85. There is still plenty of room for more people to sign up.
