World of Warcraft is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game). Similar to games such as Everquest, Guild Wars, etc. It is in the world of Warcraft (as per the history of Warcraft I, II, and III).

Its $50 for the front end, then around another $20 a month for the subscription to the servers.

The monthly price goes down with a longer subscription to the service so if you were to sign up for a 6 month subscription you would probably pay about $15 a month its about the same pricing structure as EVE online the only difference is you have to buy the front end for the game and that cost $50 but comes with the first month access to the servers.
I personally have probably spent over $50 just for various tradewars stuff that I use in games so its really not that bad if its something you would use and enjoy.

heh, I don't think I have ever had to purchase anything trade wars related. I've either won registrations in games or been given them by the authors.

$15 a month for 6mo, not bad i guess, i wonder price break for a year
but thats a chunk of change, for a game you dont know if your going to fall in love with. but i spent more than that on TW related stuff.

$50 upfront
- First month free
- $15 / month
- Or you can buy 6 month blocks and it is $13 a month

Humm sounds Good $13, im getting tired of TW anyway. Every time i
Post a Question, I never get a answer just get Smack Talk. or into
somthing im realy not involved in. Lucky Got it Right. TW is turing into not be the Fun game i used to play. every game is controversy
no more great game, afterwards. game now are a choir to play.
gettin *****ed at if you couldnt play that day, and the turn around
and their not there to help you. i have a lot of things to say but most are trivial, but thay all add up. if i had it to do all over agian, i wouldnt!

Yah as much as I love WoW, I know the TW community fairly well. Most people don't have a problem getting a question answered.

Zilla,
Huh? Questions asked in the TWGS, TW2002 and TW Gold Support, or the TW2002 School, or the general TW2002 and TW Helpers and Scripts forums get answered pretty quickly. almost always the same day. It's often a struggle for me to answer the question before someone else (Harley!) jumps in. Now, if you asked a question in the open discussion forum, well...heh. I only read about 1/2 of those.
GodZilla, I personally think if you spent less time in the Open Discussion Forums, your TW experience might have been better. Not trying to be smacky here, just constructive. I've had much more fun since I gave up caring what people thought of me, and started voting with my feet. I just don't get as invested in any particular game as I used too.
