2 billion credits on a reward? That's a messed up game if y'all are getting that high of rewards =), however I believe you can only carry 1 billion credits on you at a time. That's why that is all you had on you as you deposited it in your citadel.
The bigger question is what the heck you are doing with 647 million in your account to begin with instead of buying figs and winning the game =)

Hey Coke i was in a game, and there saw a ship called a Matrix
it was like 900 mil to buy,, but it poded to a Victory ship
witch was worth a bundle. and what i concidered cheating,, oher corps
were droping a member in the mattrix, and others corpies would cap him,and cap ship and get a victory out of it and sell it, we tested this and mad a ton of cash, but it was just a test. or its a T-edit
game, and sysop is a real nice guy to his friends?
there was a post awhile back about fixing it
so you leave a corp you cant get back on corp,
this would stop this pratice, maybe will will
see in TW Ver4

Godzilla, what are you talking about? All I said was you can't carry more then 1 billion credits on you at one time. I just went back and checked it to make sure I was right, and regarldess of t-edit or not, you can't carry more then that. t-edit only allows you 1 billion. That's why he thought he was robbed, he recived 2.5 billion in a reward, but was only able to hold 1 bil of it. He just lost the rest.
oh and about the capping expensive ships to get great pods for money, not cheating at all. Vader was right, CRAPPY settings, but this is something I've done in these ubber edit games and anybody who knows the pods make money sould do it too I guess. It could be more profitable then trading any way possible. Of course dropping from corp, you have to make sure your align would allow you to get back on, it's not like you can just do it all the times you want.
The final thing about the dropping of corp mates. That would be a bad thing if you can't drop people and add them back. There are many valid game tactics that makes this a smart thing to do.

This biggest reason to have someone drop from your corp is to prevent your reds from losing their xp. Say one of your blues kills an enemy red, and their alignment goes WAY up. At extern, this would cause your reds to lose most if not all of their xp and have to bust back up again (unless its an MBBS game and you are already megga robbing). So its not uncommon for that blue with high alignment to drop the corp before extern and (if possible) rejoin right afterwards to prevent the xp loss. Unfortunately in a scenario like this, the blue would probably not be able to rejoin the corp because of alignment conflicts [:(] If alignment would prevent rejoining, you'll often see those with high blue alignment cby right before extern. The formulas for xp loss in mixed corps is available on tw-cabal (plug [;)]) There are other reason to drop corp too, but that is pry the most common situation.

BB, Psion said what is usually the best example I can think. The other reason I would ever do it, and have done it in the past is if say the CEO flagship happenes to be the best ship to use for something specific, I.E. PPT'ing, or Collie Grabbing early in a game. Say the CEO ship has in the edits 2tpw with 200 holds...there's your ppt ship maybe...that way everyone on your corp who you are gonna have PPT can make max money. Heh Also, SPEND YOUR MONEY BB. Buy figs and finish off the game, or give me half and i'll do it =-)~
Godzilla, AHHHH just a story, now I got ya =).

There are valid reasons not to spend your money. If spending your money still won't give you the resources to win the game (or if you don't know where the enemy is to spend your resources), keeping the money in the citadel will gain you interest. With the money he has right now, he's making 3.2 million credits/day just in interest.

heh ok Kemper has a good point on interest, i'll concide that...but with that kind of money i'd still would rather have the figs to at least protect my planet more with me on it. Besides, i'm thinking if he has that kind of money in the bank, it's not a low turn game, and 3.2 million credits is chump change.

I've played turn based games where I had 10 billion in a cit making 200 million credits/day interest. Also, I missed a 0, it was 30 million/day he was making.

the max a ship can cost is 400m
also, the borgan edits are possibly the worst edits ever made
every ship but 2 (the pod and... i think the sentinal) have planet odds.
planets are weak, ships are huge, ship to ship kills become horribly expensive against a half compitant player.
