My corp was dominating but four players just formed a corp to challenge us. One of my corpies is down, in a pod, and not playing much. The other corpie is doing a great job ptrading and megarobbing and invading, etc.
So we need about 2 to 3 players, who aren't busy in other games, that have the time to play in this game in our corp.
It is MBBS and we got planets to the point that it is more profitable to ptrade and megarob. A blue can ptrade while a red can megarob the credits back. We need people who can grid, colonize, scout, invade, attack ships, etc. A good chance for newbies to learn something as well.
If interested ICQ me at 128513, or send me an email via the forum here.
P.S. my alias is Billy Idol there. I am using a alias to make it interesting. My corpie is Pat Benetar. So if you want, use an 80's singer's name or something as an alias. [:)]

Recruiting players? Now that is interesting for that game where your corp should have the major resources. I am playing solo vs your corp and the corp you mentioned and it has been a fun game, but the two of you should be able to lock it down I would think.
One odd thing is that I don't see your corp moving around hitting figs and looking for anything when anyone is online. Is your corp working on their conflict avoidance skills?
Anyway, just giving you a hard time.

Maybe I'm just an old time player, but why would you try to get pdropped on when other players are online? If you have a decent opponent you avoid his assets when he is online.

In this game several players are online 24/7, except for the occasional connection drop. About the only way to explore is by moving about - fig coverage will stop your eprobes since a large percentage of the universe is covered. Pdrops can be deadly as are some photon scripts and you are correct when say you want to avoid them, but with players constantly online............ Mainly I was just giving Orion a hard time since that is the nature of this forum, and he and his corp are playing a good game over there.

Well, Orion's post had a nice twist to it I must admit. My corp increased by 100%, now two players; corp6 increased by 1 to 5 players, and Orion's corp increased by 1 with Sgo coming back in so they now have 4. It should make for an interesting game... as a friend of mine says "it's all good".

Well can't say I didn't make it interesting. I figured with corp 6 doing recruiting that I would as well. Corp 3 also got a new member as well.
Yes we aren't going to get ptorped while some other corp is online, so we avoid the figs as much as possible. We got a good grid up and can move through it to make money. I also notice that corp 6 pretty much avoids our figs when we are online as well. Paranoia, got to love it. [;)]
Last Gangsters game, I did not have a plan, nor did I organize things well or read the edits. I was not really playing seriously until a last minute challenge happened. This time was different with different corp members. I got to admit that there is a lot of good talent in the game so far. All are good players.
For those interested in joining in:
twgs.system78.com port 23
Game G, 5000K sectors, MBBS, 1000 turns a day.
Forums: http://www.twgs.system78.com/
Also check out the other games, they need more players. Traveller, game T, may be rebanged soon.

Recruiting time is up. Time for the game to really begin. Kimsannee, sit back, watch and learn. Warriors... come out and play!

Did you post a surrender on the System78 forum?
We were very close to finding your bases and outsmarting that Adjacent Photon bot.

Bases found, ships blown up, 1 fed safe player left from corp6 sitting at SD in a pod, all planets taken. Good game though and would like to see the two corps go at it again from day 1.

Yeah, all set on the System78 Forum, had a good game, wish to go at it again when the next bang comes around. Hope to see you all there again.
Nice game, colos were a bit of a problem, late start from corp members but we made a good run at it. Next time around.

5 players in a corp and it was a fun game w/o a doubt - good edits. Hoping all of the players show back up when it rebangs. The system was pretty decent on response times - a few lags noticed by some players at the same time - but nothing bad.

Gangsters edits, planets kinda expensive but once gotten up there definitely were nice to cash with. Response time was never a problem on my end. Overall I had a great time learning some new skills and hopefully can take them into the next bang and onto other sites as well with a great corp.
hehehe, as a friend of mine says Slim... Its all good, another says... Bring it on!
