Ok, slim...we accept.

The only thing you have ever heard DU members say is that in a pure unlimited with regular rules we are the BEST perma out there (actually you couldnt put together another team that could beat us, perma or not) until someone beats us in a game with those rules. Unbeatable? No. Beatable by any 5 players alive right now in a pure unlimited? I dunno, but I havent seen it with the absence of Xide. I will not say there is no way we will ever lose a game, but until 5 peeps step up to the challenge then in my opinion we are the best perma out there for UNLIMITEDS.

Please read my rebang post on Game Rebang section and let me know a time to bang the game so you can be there and UNDERSTAND how quickly you can lose a REAL game.

i don't think there is any question that you are the best perma corp at unlimiteds. i do find it humorous that all these wannabe's talk so much **** tho. i mean, gawd. lol. if you really wanted to make it fair, you'd just play 3 on 6 or something against them. now when it comes to TURNS games . . . then its a different story.

it has to be unlims? heh, ya that might suck. ill still play, cause its fun, it will suck when your corp has like 10X the cash we have in first 10 minutes, i was hopin for turns, yes ill play u unlimited, i have no doubt in your guys ability. and i expect to get my Butt handed to me, i will do my best to recruit the best though to give u run for money

Yeah. I'm with Slim on this one. I love having the S**T beat out of me. It both keeps me humble and teaches me more. If I'm free and you need a man, I'd be willing to give it a go Slim.

BC, it have to be tomarrow as well? so i had like 12 hours to convince Xide to corp with me? heh. i will start asap trying to find the 4 best non DU unlim players that are willing to have balls and play this game. i *think* i can get 3 or 4 very good players, just have to ask them. well i have 1 confirmed yes, he is very good, 1 99% yes, and one 75% yes.. i just need 1 more and i will icq u when i find him.

Perhaps you misunderstood...I didnt mean this game was for today. I just meant that we will play you whenever. If it is possible and I can round up my crew and you can find someone to host it though we will be glad to play tonight. I have not spoken to anyone on DU about this. The post in the other forum was just for another game that I wont play in since it is on my server. However, I feel certain that DU peeps will be there if you are bringing a team.

As for you dida...turns are not as good for us as we dont have the time it takes to be good at them. Your corp has constant coverage with at least two peeps at all times. We on the other hand work in places that we cant be at keys during the time we are on the job. Turns games are so much more time intensive because they last longer than an hour. This unlimited will be over in a matter of a couple of hours and coverage wont matter as the msl's will be blocked off shortly thereafter. I will give you guys credit...after playing with biggy, i would say you are prolly the top perma even without xide. Your coverage is awesome and you have some of the top scripters in the game.

JoshE your attitude is a bit childish. Damage Unlimited is generally recognized as the top unlimited perma in the game. Space Tyrants is generally recognized as the top turns perma in the game. How is it that simply assenting to such facts is 'brown nosing'. If you disagree, say so, bring YOUR corp, and get your Butt handed to you by either of our corps. Shrug.

Come to think of it, the only two permas that i have seen in action in the last few weeks (months?), were the Unkowns and Space Tyrants? There seems to be a lull in game activity lately, with roaming bands of corps made up partially of other permas. Did the USO really put the haunt on these guyz?

well i have no perma, but of the people i have gathered for our eventual game against DU, i have talked to some and we hope to provide some long term type competition. right now it is super hard to get a time/day that works for everyone. getting a game specifically for 10 people is not as easy as it sounds. heh. but hopefully sometime soon we can get everyone together for that game and maybe that will spark more corporate game play going on. im wondering, is there any type of single elimination corporate tourney? i think that would be a cool idea, get 16 corps, randomly place them, then use just a 16 bracket to get a champion, maybe even vary up the edits/turn etc for each round to change the gameplay, so the winning team will have to win games under all situations, so teams like DU have to play turns, or Space Tyrants have to play unlims. just a thought. the championship game would be an original 1k sector 100 turn, stock game heh. ok, maybe thats a bit much, but u get the idea.
