Oh my God, this new 56 release just blows, I cant cheat and steal my way to a win anymore, I cant use some of the same bugs I used to, and oh my what will I ever do since I cant get a message at that prompt any more, and this 57 release wont allow me to photon those chicken ****s at Stardock any more, and the moron who brought up the fact that you can change Stardock to a SBB then back to a class 9 port just ruined all my fun of killing people that have only entered the game for 10 minutes and are totally defenseless, they shouldnt have the ability to t-warp out of my way, now I actually have to work a little to win a friggin game, and now with that I think I will just close down my TWGS, sell it off to Bill Clinton with an edit that has everyone riding around in cigars attacking blue dresses with stains on them, then I will just have to load up the White House with corbo and blow it up so I can self pod and get some sanity back, then maybe I can hang out in the old elites home for the mentally inept and let my pod rust. NOT!!!
Grow Up People, quit crying.

This has to end. We cannot have players *****ing at each other over changes made in the game that they have no control over anyway. JP controls the changes made, not any of the players.
It is like people *****ing over the changes made to Windows which makes it easier to use, but breaks programs that the experts wrote a few years ago. The programmers, while they may spend 80 hours a week or more programming, have no control over what Microsoft does with Windows and either must adapt to the new framework or find another line of work or platform to develop for. Many programmers simply learn the new framework, buy new development tools and convert their existing programs to the new development tool and framework.
In this case it is not as big a change from TWGS .55 to .56/.57 as the framework did not change and they are using the same tools as before. The challenge is to rewrite the scripts to work with the new changes. Are the experts saying they cannot do this? I highly doubt that. Even with the changes they should be able to still be experts in the game and pod newbies and average players, etc. They just have to find a different way to do it now. Scripts can be rewritten, a new way of playing can be learned.
Oh yeah even with the .56 changes, I found I can still tant someone from the Star Dock using the FedCom and stay docked with the Star Dock.

Thanks for the spelling lesson.

You mean you sell your ship, wait until it says how much it will pay for your ship, and then hang at the "Y/N" prompt while your Corpie takes the figs off of your ship, and then you hit Yes to sell the ship sans any figs on it for the higher price?
I was not sure it could do that while you are docked at the Star Dock. Sounds like a serious bug to me.
