Duping is cheating, everyone knows this, but what if...
Your in a game with a preset truce in effect. AND. Someone decides to go on a killing spree and break the truce rule. AND. The gameop is not around to fix the situation (which can be understandable because ya can't expect someone to sit and monitor their twgs all day). SO. As the truce time gets closer and closer to the end, you are loosing valuable playing time because you are DEAD. NOT TO MENTION. You have already been cheated out of alot after there was already an earlier incident which was never corrected.
My respects to the server/gameop I refer to (you know who you are). Its a great server and it is not your fault. To many TW players don't have any respect for rules, and some of them seem to want to play on your server and ruin things for the rest.
So create a dupe and go on your merry way? What say the TW community?

Darn, man.. you still mad at Graz? heh
Well... I suppose there's no harm in starting over. As long as you don't access your dead account any further and maybe even have it deleted, I don't see why you couldn't start over with a new "character". Just my opinion..

No you don't understand. This is a truce game, which the truce is drawing to an end, to start over would be pointless. You couldnt possibly rebuild the assets you had in time.
Dupe and continue? or say F*CK IT and CBY?

Screw the game. There are too many other games out there to worry about it.

CBY... if you don't want the sysop to re-bang cause the game was hosed by a truce break, then you have to live with being #SD# until the next day. Don't dupe. What you should do is ask the sysop to bring you back to life cause you were killed when someone broke the rules.
But I agree with Rofellos.. drop the game and go play elsewhere is probably best at this point.

Wotok, the sysop is not around to ask to bring me back to life. Probably at work or something. By the time he gets home, ill have already lost millions or credits worth of time I coulda been running ssm.

Sorry man... there are a couple games recently banged that have truces if that's still your bag. If you don't care for truces, there's still more that just started that you can get in on.

Agreed a fair GameOp would give you back your stuff, plus interest for the SSMing time you lost. Also ban the truce breaker by IP if possible.
The other option is acceptable, there are plenty of other games out there. Besides after a while, the current game will be rebanged anyway so what is the point of staying in it? Just read the rebang forum and pick a new game.

Who gives a Rat's Butt if someone dupes. Limit Corp size fixes that. Might get a bunch of teenybopper dupers in a game, who cares, they will expire
As to truces:
Yuck.

Shrug,
Just do what you usually do PHX, flame the sysop til you get their attention. You'll go far in the community
(HEH) at least it works for you.

Your avarage stop light isn't enforcable either, and even if you are caught running one, the penalty isn't that great. We respect them anyway.
