My name is Chance, from El Centro, CA. My tradewars name has been retired for over 10 years now, and it will very likely stay that way due to time constraints. I was not an elite player, but I could hold my own back in the day of dial-up. I log on to the forum daily to check on development, and of course to get a good laugh every now and then.
Anyways, I am a 23 year old College Student, majoring in Software Applications Programming. I tried having a TWGS up once a few years back, but it didnt catch on very well, and the ISP that was hosting my server shut down 3 months later, and that was that. I have meddled with the idea of trying again, it just all depends on what kind of time I have to do it.
I currently work in the security field to help pay the bills and tuition. Not married or have any kids, but I have a wonderful and supportative girlfriend whom I may make my wife some day.

Well, guess been on long enough to post here.
My name, well call me Narkon or Zandarandaz. I started playing TW when I was 15, which was 12 years ago, yes the old 286, 1200 baud. Only local BBSs for the phone bill, and I ruled most of the games, because of 2 reasons. The group playing was small, and I put in the most time. My corp was always named EARS Inc. In 1992 tried my hand at my own BBS, but not a registered copy of TW.
Quit playing in `92, got married in `94 to the most wonderful lady for me. We had dated for 4 years before getting married, and now at 10 years of marriage have a wonderful 3.5 year old boy.

After high school, I went and flunked out of college (for nursing) while working at a hospital. Got married, we decided one of us had to get a better job. Moved out of Alex. La, to Lafayette La, me in college for Electrical Engineering (cause it could support a one income family), in year 3 she began college for her Associates degree in General Studies (speciallized in family and child development), she graduated (with 4.0) in May 2000, son born July 2000, I grad in Dec 2000 (not a 4.0) moved to Houston to work for a contractor at JSC.

I got this weird feeling this past Jan. , to see what every happen to TW so I looked it up and what did I find, not only is it still existing, but still running to. So I joined. Found out it has changed a ton, and well am trying to modify myself to the game.

It is very addictive, and most computer games are to me, so I gave them all up, and then found this one. I just bought a house, so feel bad for the guys in the corp I play in. but after this month should be back to learn how to play better. To bad I won't put in the time to do the extreme techinques to stay top player. I just like to play, don't have to win.
