Overkill and his corp seemed to be the main problem during both games. Both games I had to move my base 3 times before truce was over. They grid in and drop figs. It does not do a density scan to see if there is a base next door. They just come in and kill anything in the sector. I got into the game by myself and tried to help Galixi. But Galixi if you would turn your comms on you would have got all my personal messages and stuff. I just left my ship and all my figs in sec 20000, cause I did not have a corp. I think that gridding scripts are stupid during truce due to the fact that you cant stop them. And I IMed the sysop about the IG thing. He did not say it was not against truce. He said that your script will stop. I tested it out. If you are worldtrading and get to a pair in TWX it will go to cn9 and run a little macro to trade. If someone comes into the sector and drops a fig under you the macro does not know what to do with that and will cause you to halt. I noticed I stopped 3 times yesterday. The first time it was an IG. I got in touch with overkill and he had lonewolf turn off the ig. The next 2 times I stopped I checked my logs and it just showed him coming into the sector, but not iging me. SWATH shows you if you are held in an ig. I think the responsable thing to do would be to not allow gridding during truce unless you can make it stay out of sectors with so much density. But gridder scripts dont do that they go from sec 11 to 12 to 13. Dropping figs along the way. Why did you cby. That is a puss way out. I would have at least gone out fighting. Only reason I didnt do it is cause I wanted to try to corp up with you, but now my ship is a trophy.

I know you disagree with my decision to CBY, but at the time I was the only one left with 45 mins left to try to consolidate my assets and hide (after my newest corpie quit in disgust after overkill podded him) and when MajorPayne essentially said he wasn't going to do anything to the offernders yet again, I was really angry and afraid that I'd say or do things I would regret. As it was, I had to apologize this morning to Payne for things I said over ICQ to him last night.

I normally don't CBY my way out of problems; I've been known to move my planets every 15 mins if I have to to stay alive another day, it's just that this situation got so ridiculous: 6 ppl on their corp vs 1, knowing that they'd just just cry "corrupted database" again anyway to avoid a loss if I did manage to recruit a team again and recover, it just seemed hopeless when the SYSOP is on the opposing team (if not literally via dupe, then for all intents and purposes via his actions against us.)

I didn't want them to have the satisfaction of "invading" me, either. I simply left it all mostly undefended and CBY'd.

Demon Wssming doesn't even scan when it goes out from the class 0 ports from refurbing.If you have a problem With people hanging up your scripts you should be at keys to check your scripts...I dont' depend on my scripts to run without hangups...Galaxi you want to complain left and right about the game I offered to replace what your corpie lost in fact i said i would double it. Demon is right.., just CBying like you both did is a Chicken Sh*t way out of it... Then to go complain about it...And as far as the Ig thing pay attention to yourself and quit complain About little bullsh*t...If you Have a Problem about people entering your sector during a truce lay figs in your home sector with mines and cannons on...500k offensive figs in the sector will make a person think twice about using blind gridders...And if you remember first your corpie entered and killed our figs first...Jhereg was the first person attacked by spyhunter so you can thank him for me running offensive scripts...
We didnt' go complain to the sysop about it...His accuse was he wasn't sure if the truce was still on...You corp quit not cause of all the little ****...But because you guys were being out classed and out cashed!
The game is still having problems with messages and Majorpayne is checking into it with JP...And no Demon we weren't the only ones with the problem Blade was the first one to start screaming about it before the rebang.

Heh, well it seems funny that almost invariably the same names continue to up in these discussions. I personally have not ever played at the board because people I respect have said fishy things go on there. However, if any of you would like to get a true beat down by an unlimited corp, we are definitely down to do so. That should wake many of you up about being outcashed and outclassed. Give me a holler and surely we can find a place to play against each other that is acceptable to both of us. I, for one, am tired of beating up the same ole peeps in high turns. The last two matches against death star have been very one sided and very QUICK, so we would really like someone to step up and get some. We have a corp of 4 for sure and if needed, we have an excellent 5th. Let me know if any of you think you are ready for Damage Unlimited!

Heh...Bone Collector...And Uga you Darn right i'm using offensive defensive scripts It went off when he followed me around....I activate defensive scripts when my corpies get attacked breaking the truce to begin with...Next time i won't tell my corpies to ignore what happened and replace if they make a mistake of being careful...
I will tell them to kill every thing in site. Personal i hate truces it's a puss thing for noobs to try to get to play longer then they would normal without one... But if you want to be fair put freaking no SD blockades in effect....

Actually Overkill running a gridder and killing figs in someones base is not a mistake of being careful as you put it. They are designed for 2 things. Exploring and Laying figs to make a grid. Hence the name gridder. You do not make a mistake of flying into a persons base. And dropping 400k offensive figs is good and all, but if you dont have that many it is not your fault or your problem till after truce. Bone you are blowing smoke up your own Butt. The only way my name got pulled into this is cause I have been winning. Overkill and his bunch of rejects had nothing to do with mine and LOKI's problem. So no the same names are not being dragged into this. Now get back to your server and figgure out what my problem is.

As for blowing smoke up my own behind...I seriously dont think when we are playing and at keys that ANY four peeps in the world can beat us at an unlimited. Perhaps I am wrong. Most of the elite dont play unlims, so we will never know. Angus' old group is only ones out there who are even close and they are a distant second in a no truce game. Now, I never meant to imply that one on one we would beat anyone down as peeps like angus can play with anyone. But I am about 99 percent certain noones ssm can stay close. I watched xide recently in a dm and Loki outcashed him by 1.5 to 1 easily. If some of the great scripters WANTED to compete, I am sure they could build an ssm that would beat ours, but right now noones is close that plays unlims even semi regularly.

So none of you newb wannabe unlim players are interested in taking up BC on his offer???

I see you guys can all talk big here in the smack forum... and can all act big playing by yourselves on your little circle jerk servers with your butt buddy sysops helping you out...

But then along comes BC and offers you a challenge to play on a neutral server in a real unlim game with no truce against DU... and all I hear are crickets.

I'm also guessing after this post all I will hear are your lame Butt excuses as to why you can't play.

Personally, I agree with Bone Collector. From what I hear his corp is a great unlimited group. I respect that. I know that I am no where NEAR as skilled in unlimited games. I'd be interested in playing in lower turn game against him (and may be if Damage Unlimited cleans up Pupper Master's in ladders), but other than that, I'm always interested in playing. But I will bow to BC, I have heard his corp is awesome in unlimiteds, from numerous people, and no real reason to doubt it. Personally, as I stated before, I am not a fan of unlimited, and usually only play when a friend ask.

You may not be as skilled as DU, but I have come to respect your agressive play, and know when you are in a game I watch out for DU in the left mirror and your corp in the other. You would be competition for the Elites as well as the noobs, its best learned by dieing in TW. I just hope everyone can find the servers and competiton to please them. I have been jumping around from server to server. Checking out games, alot of them have good games going, but maybe 1-3 players. so if a server is not working for some one, ie IO they just look around. If the sysop got the tedit bug dont play there, is the best way to vote with your feet. it will either survive on its character or wither on the vine.

I also know some people thrive on chaos, and will go back for more, is all good for me. these threads keep me entertained as I have no RL and nothing good on TV. so inbetween games i can read here hehe. So keep up the battle everyone.
