10ms connection speed is very easy to discover while in combat.

Yes please explain to me how I can be dragonstar, bloodangel, and who is DUP KING. Just to ease your thoughts I ran an IP checker and none of the players who have visited my site have duped. The IP's do not match on any of the octets. Your new best friend bloodangel sent me a copy of the fedlogs. And to answer your question if you look up my user ID in EIS you will see I am in Atlanta GA. How are the users of my site going to know where the server is located. So three newbies come into a game and are able to pdrop the great Res. So I guess it must be cheating. And to answer another question of yours yes I am behind a firewall. Tradewars is not the only thing my server is used for. I am not going to be using a dual processor server to run a text based game that only requires a 486 processor. And I am not going to just lease a T1 line to just host a TWGS. I have the e-mail from BloodAngel for proof of the conversation if anyone is interested. I can post it with a few profanity edits if anyone is interested. Which brings me to this Res if you do come back to my site and use the language you did you will be banned. This is a family site and I will not stand for the type of language you used. Thank you Strider. It is about time the sysops stick up for one another. Anyone can just get into a forum and say a sysop is cheating or using tedit, but if you have no proof it makes no sense. And I am sorry but actually getting pdropped is not proof of a 10ms connection speed. Res if you have a question or a problem with my site why do you not e-mail me or ICQ me. Well, dunno, guessing Res's experience is related to a certain game. The game I am in has nothing unusual. BUT he usually plays those sissy unlimited games...

I do recall the sysop mentioned when advertising he would be playing in some games, and those games would be marked.

Right, I said if I play in any games it would be a closed game or posted enter at your own risk. The only reason I would set up one of those games is to test out scripts. Which I rarely do, but felt it good to notify everyone ahead of time. Hope you are enjoying the game Severian.

To be 100% honest I have no EVIDENCE... of any of this...
However, being a sysop myself and playing on server, you know what a 10ms PING or connection is.
That connection speed is only possible if you are playing directly on the server.
Also I think this server is behind a firewall and un pingable...and being behind a firewall
the TWGS is laggy for EVERY ONE...Every one that is logged in remotely...with this firewall inplace.

The Events that took place on this server and the FED COM conversations sent up massive RED FLAGS...

There is a slight chance I am PARANOID...seeing is how I got my Butt HANDED to me Battling off SD..
And not only was my Butt handed to me, but I have never been smoked so badly in macro battles in FED SPACE....

Oh I might point out..that the DUP SYSOP CHEATER...smoked me, and doesnt need to CHEAT I am sure that with same ping times or REMOTE connections this DUP SYSOP CHEATER would do just fine playing normally and really dont need to have a "PRIVATE PROOVING GROUNDS...."

Just as I told you in the game Mr. Ego. You really need to grow up. I usually don't get involved with all of this silly smack. And, yes I understand that you are the king of it. I am certain that you have tons of followers that just love to back you up. The fact is your corp came into a game that was already 4 days old. Then on day 5 you show up. It seems to me that as long as you get your way everything is cool. The moment that it doesn't go your way then there has to be a cheat.
As of for your threat that you mad to me in the game, that you were going to take this server down, do what you must. I think it only coward of you. I am sure that the places that you play were they cater to your ego you are a god. And as I have heard you are a very good player. I doubt that anyone can dispute that. but as of for the language that you use and the spoiled attitude that you carry, surely says to most that you need to grow up.

I'm only 35, believe it or not. Been playing Tradewars for quite some time now, remember when BBSes ran it and I played via a C64 at 300 baud. No ANSI, No Corps, No Ferrengi or Aliens, 65 turns a day, one player at a time, everyone had the same ship. We loved it that way because we didn't know any better.

Calm down people, seems to me there are some problems with this that dont make sense to me so I will ask the question. And for the record, I dont play on this server so I wouldnt know first hand, thats why I am asking. I run a game server with a 1024 cable connection behind a firewall, its an AMD 3200+ with 1 Gig ram and nobody has ever complained to me about lag. My question is this, if he has a dual processor machine connected to a T1 behind a firewall then he should have 0 lag, isnt it possible that the lag comes from another computer in the chain on the net? I have had this happen to me and its not always the Server Computer causing the problems.
