Sadly coast games is not letting me post there so I will just say that I am rooting for Corp Unknown in THE BIG GAME. It is fun just to watch the logs and player stats. At what point do you say I better CBY or else my alignment is going to kill my red mates Exp. Question why was tweety destroyed by Zyrain when he was in a T'khasi Orion?

Yea, it'd be nice to find a good chart of how red/blue corp's experience/alignment are affected.

just my opinion but I think memorial weekend was a very bad start date. some of us get together with family and camp and fish or have lake cabin's. I did sign up and then realized that I would be gone for 5 days starting on may 22nd. at least I found someone to take my place.

well hopefully we can do it again sometime. If I improved my skills a lil I would not mind joining. But I feel I would just hurt the corp right now lol. But then I could just run a red script and then I would not really have to have skills to help the corp. Just be dreaggged around by my blue buddies and then dropped into fed space when done. Was thimking of an alternative though which was blues dragging reds to a photon site to attack with an IC no turns wasted and blues dont get massive align fluctuations that hurt the reds. Dunno how hard this would be to implement in practice. Fig report/fire Ptorp/lock on with tow/red pick up figs enter sector/blue set up pod screen figs/ red destroy ship and pod/w capture script to avoid corbs(although IC w 200k figs are good defense against corbs) lather rinse repeat red already spent turns so is not wasting time. made 10M on SDT good for about 50k figs.

Another thing that I bow to superior knowledge about, but on paper mines seem to be the way to go. fig ave price of 200@1 mine 1000@30 more bang for the buck plus you force the other player to either spend alot of time with disruptors @6k destroying the ave 5 mines or constant photons @40k for a temporary solution in prelude to invasion. If the fight comes down to attrition of credits then you are ahead seeding the whole universe with mines even 250 per sector 500k for two fully loaded sectors is cashy but irritating 125*30=3750/def factor. Not enough to stop any sort of determined attacker but we are seeding the universe not just the home sectors. Plus the fact that the computer will try to avoid the sector thus slowing or breaking scripts. 10M seeding 40 sectors 250 each you could seed sector nowhere near home worlds just to mess with people and make them waste credits. Just my opinion do not know how it would run in a real game.

Edit... Ran some tests. Mine disruptors actually destroy an ave of 9 mines. 6k per disruptor vs 9k worth of mines. Drawback of disruptors is that it will announce the location of attack 10 times with a full wave of disruptors. giving defense time to get into position. Or you could run in and out with a high shield ship such as the Havok 125*30=3750/1.2=3000 shields destroyed and 125 figs 3000*120+125*200=385000 credits still not as economical as mine disruptors but more resistant to photons.

Mines average 15 damage / mine, up to 30 for a single one. For the most part, large mine deposits lose you more than gain. They take too many turns to lay. 1-3 mines every sector you go through, on the other hand, is nice. You don't have to reload as often, you don't have to worry about disrupters, and you still can break scripts and cause photons to go off.

Where is all the Biggame smack talk? All the flame wars? I'm a little disappointed.

All joking aside, it just shows that Jerry is running an excellent and fair game. Thank-you Jerry.

Actually, BIG GAME twa file is 100% corrupted, mass bugs and lag are killing my corpies.
Its sad but when TWGS has more then say 50 accounts, that are SIGNED Up at Game start, the games most always end up corrupted.

Now I have heard that if the player accounts are set up before hand this type of data corruption does not occur, live and learn.

Big Game has been great all considered.
I met some great players and our Corp Team Attrition was responsible for all 6 deaths given to Cherokee. Was a pleasure to ELiminate him at KEYS.

All I ask is to die like a soldier at keys, not afk or offline.

Muhahaha
