It is a big deal when you make a truce with someone you give your word to them. If you go back on your word you are just another low life that can't be trusted since people are only as good as their word.

Pah, its a friggin game. Dont be so uptight. I wouldn't break truces, but I also would only trust someone whom I made a truce with as far as I could spit. Its your fault for making a truce with someone you didnt know and then blindly trusting him. Obviously, I don't know the details, but I would never leave myself vulnerable to anyone I made a pact with.

yeah dont trust anyone, when I first started playing I learned a very valuable lesson when someone wanted to corp with me. I figured what the hey I will probably learn to play from this person. as soon as I made a corp and he joined he quickly came to the sector I was in and he had a script that took my figs and shields and cash then capped my ship. Nice huh.

he quit corp after he took figs shields and cash, then attacked, it was all very fast. musta been a script or a series of macro's. anyway it just goes to show ya you can't get to bent out of shape over a broken truce. **IT happens.

Yeah well that is y when you corp with someone you NEVER put 100% of your stuff into the corp because then you are just asking for someone to join take it and leave...Always have a small planet of your personal **** to back you up with and keep it well hidden.

wow, that is paranoid. I don't think I'd ever go that far, if I'm going to allow someone on my corp then I will put my trust in them. If they screw me, so be it, I move on to next game. I don't see the point in hiding personal stuff while your trying to win a game, i'm sure i could use those turns on more important things.

yeah i guess it does depend on what style of game your playing...turns and everything....But i am a good enough player that if i get screwed my a cccorp member and i have a little to fall backon then at least i won't be completly behind and plus i am sure you can get half the game against that one person that screwed you...
