I hate it when people attack during a clearly posted truce.Why cant people read instructions and live by them?If they dont like them,DONT PLAY.Thats my 2 cents.

Then again i think running kill scripts to wack anyone that touches a toll is lame too..

Well, i understand it in a tourney game, but in a regular game i see no reason to let thelittle fish grow to bigger fish before wacking them

Then again i hate scritping... i mean i love scripts, i just hate writing the dang things.. makes my head hurt...

Like I said before.Thats what so great about this country,we can have different opinions.USA USA USA.I agree a week is way too long.I can understand like 4 hrs or so but some times lol.
But to the topic,I hate getting attacked during truces.

If a truce is in place it should be followed. Unfortunately there's such a wide variety of people that play tradewars, from immature kids to over the hill adults(who is the oldest player i wonder?). And a lot of immature kids or immature adults for that matter don't really give a crap about truces or rules. Then throw in the fact that this is an anonymous online game with tons of other places to play if they get banned, there really is no accountability or public disgrace if you break the rules. Sure there will be a few people whining about it here, but the people who break the truces or use bugs could care less. I remember playing a game for 24 hours only to have one of MY corpies break the truce 30 minutes before it was overm, ruining the game and getting us all banned. Grrr.

Wildstar, first off let me start off by apologizing for blowing you up during a cease fire. I broke the rule, and it is totally my fault. I was told that it was over and I did not take the time to look myself. However; once I found out that I broke the rule, I rightly took myself out of the game.

My question to you is why do you play on such a lame server? I could be asked the same question. I start to play, then realize the rules then leave. A month later forget why I don’t play there then go back and repeat the process. That does not make since why you play there. You do not need a month truce to get started in a game. Your standard of trade wars game play is better than that.

I understand that some people need that boost to get themselves on their feet, but what I don’t understand is why Risc just does not tedit everybody a base seeing how he stays in the editor at all times. That is another thing I kept forgetting. The sysops on that board stay in tedit. I could go on and on about that alone but that discussion has come to eis in the past I would just be overstating the obvious.

Well Wildstar, buddie, its like this pal...when i am brought into a game and the sysop tells me there is a 24 hr no fire, and i follow that rule and hold bvy the rule, then order an attack to one of my corpies or i attack after the 24 hrs is up....then come to find out the friggen sysop has changed the rule to 48 hours and changes my password for breaking the rule he changed....well to me that is kinda lame, seems this server in question is full of bull**** like this, Doog brought up a good question, why the hell we keep coming back? well to be honest with you its because we cant find another server that is online for more than 3 days at a time, or i would be more than happy to tell this particular server to kiss my Butt....cause what Dr Doog said is exactly true....one sysop steps down for a so called break then another steps in on a temp server and does the same crap....i mean we play in a game and the sysop adds 10 million more colonists, i mean come on...part of the game is to see who can get the most colos...hell sysop puts in 10 million everytime his buddies cry that they didnt get many...

but enough of my whining.....so i guess what im trying to say is...get the facts before you start your **** again wildstar. i mean you say read the rules...why the hell should i when the sysop tells them to me...i mean **** it was the first day...who woulda thought they would change the rules before the first day is over...lol

You know what really pisses me off.... ppl driving slow in the high speed lane.. damm i wanna shoot them sometimes.. I also really hate Truces cause their hard to enforce and are quite lame.

yea pesty that blows.....but really pissed me off is when you feel the pain to go take a dump and you bust Butt to the toilet hurdeling the kid's toys, dodging chairs, navigating around the wife cause she wants a hug (GAG) then trying to get your daughter out of there, all the time feeling it...lol then you FINALLY make it in there and its only a fart!

Seems like it would be easy to implement a truce as part of the game.. I wonder why they havent.
