I registered my door games at lease 5 years ago, i registered again because i couldnt confirm my account from that far back, but im waiting to see if he can give me registration info because i lost my new one few months ago. Hopefully he can do it, otherwise ill have to register again.

Don't worry he will find it. he found mine after about 10 years. You guys just have to realize that sometimes things just take time. There are many reasons that there is a hold up but I can assure you there is a reason and you will be taken care of in the end . it is unfortunate that there has been a delay and I know its hard to wait but just hang in there.

Relax...JP is prob the reason this game has kept going and keeps improving! He will take care of things when he has time. I was co-sysop of the late TLC BBS and when Martech was not taking care of registration it was John that stepped in and made sure we got our registration codes. Then he bought the code and upgraded to TWGS levels and kept improving and removing the bugs. Lisa/Rave helped out a lot when she was still with us helping JP with lots of details.
IMHO...sit back and give him a bit of time to catch up with RL and his hobby!!

Whats funny is how im the bad guy here. You act like he's doing ME the favor or something. I am supporting Trade Wars by registering when I could just go get the keys. I didn't want to see anyone else getting ripped off so I was trying to warn people. You guys didn't try to calmly explain to me that this is his standard buisness practice. No, you stoop to what you "think" is my level to talk trash back to me. LOL. Hypocrites. I had several people pitch in money and they are wanting to play. It had already been awhile setting up everything else, now this. People are losing their patience. I'm trying to do the right thing, and I end up getting slapped in the face for it. I guess I'll learn.

LOL, well glad to see I got your attention. If you will notice my other post in the forum, which was my first attempt at finding out information, you will see that is has 0 replies. That didn't work, but guess what, this post sure as hell did. I now know that this is sometimes usual, as was stated here several times, even though you seem to deny that fact. First of all, there has been NO reason for hesitation as you might suggest. My e-mails to John haven't been anything more than simple "Was wondering if you got my money" e-mails. Again, he had answered my e-mail right away about trade wars still being supported. So it seemed odd to me that I never got a response after sending the money, as I'm sure it would to most normal people.

Second of all, who THE **** do you think you are to tell me where I can and can't go? GO **** YOURSELF.

I've sysoped Trade Wars games for a long time, buddy. You act like you already know this is going to be my first time or something. I ran a WildCat! BBS before the internet was heard of. I'm surprised by your post that you knew how many words were in "**** that". Who said anything about a "little keygen copy"? Where do you morons get this stuff? I mentioned there are "cracks" for the game. Nothing about a keygen. I've never seen any keygen. And before someone comes out and accuses me of searching for cracks since I happen to know they exist, I happen to know someone who runs a cracked version of gold w/ TWGS. Not personally, but I ran into him in a tradewars room on IRC.

I had no issues. I just registered in December. I had the codes pretty quick considering this is not exactly a main stream game, and the fact that John has a life out side of this.

He was prompt, professional, and delivered.

It is good to see that someone still supports this game. It was a mainstay game for all of our BBS's back in the day.

John is not going to rip you off. Just give it time.

Doesn't everyone realize that every answer to this guy's posts only makes him that much more upset? If it were up to me, I'd just delete every one of his posts, refund his money and ban him from this space. My God, JP is probably sitting back laughing while he goes on and on and on. I'm sure JP appreciates all the support ya'll are showing him but the best way for problems to go away is to simply ignore them.

If JP was reading this and NOT responding to my e-mails, what a person to support. I really doubt he is reading this. I'm sure something is up. What you fools seem to keep missing is the fact that I did this to get some replies. I have been told by several of you that he is a good person and that he will come through. It's quite obvious, You got a little self-righteous with the power of control granted to you by purchasing sysop rights from Mustang Software.
