Well, to squash those silly rumors...the last three games on campus has seen one of us being fedsafe and the other three not being playing with alignment at all. It is my experience with the competetion we have on there it isnt worth the time to mess with alignment.

hey, thats low man [:(] sven was there along with bud and some other guy haha kinda sucks when you go after 1 guy, and a planet sprouts 2 more corpies
"i dont remember the last time i was fedsafe on campus... not much point to going fedsafe anyway since dumbo camaro always blows dock to ensure his team loses. your one trick seems to always backfire monkey, maybe its time to learn a new one."
hahahaha that doesn't ensure our loss the only time it ever backfired was when i corped with you guys which was pretty embarrasing, but the reason i blow dock isn't to keep you guys from gettin ships, its to keep you guys from having a hiding place in fed, notice sol is usually blown at the same time it always serves its purpose
i would say it backfired last week. Stardock was blown and sol.. so that left the class 0 ports. no one could buy figs but us cause we had both class 0s locked down. so all the corps had billions and billions of credits and nothing to spend them on. we invaded the smaller corps with little effort and ended up getting almost all their money from them because the short truce left them unprepared.. so after the truce no more figs. and we had an unlimited supply
i wish i would of counted how many pods we handed out with that planet.

hey dude
it aint the sysops fault, its the players fault
some people get a kick out of locking down a game thats 30 minutes old with 5 players in it
personally i like the challange, but most other ppl in this game aint like that
this is along the lines of players waiting for a corp to go offline before invading
I normally block fed after any serious competition is dead. Otherwise, most of the time, it's a waste of figs. Once there are only newbies left who don't realize they've lost, something has to be done to convince them.

kemper, 30 minutes into the game its usually meant to keep everyone out of the game, regardless of how competitive they may be but i do understand why you would do it after you've won. In an unlimited you can mass the resources to win in 30 minutes, but i think thats bad taste to lock a game down before ppl even join it, its better to let them build up so youd have a more eventful game
Survey: it actually worked last game, the purpose of me doing that is to force you guys to use the class 0's, bone collector got #SD#'d once in the back door, when he got back in the game he had his little automacro to refill his ship when i nailed him, and our little encounter was interrupted since i had to reconnect cause my 12 hours was nearly gone on the dial up, causing a quasar hit when i blasted off and at that time you didnt have any hold on the 2nd class 0, or its back door next game i wont moth an alien planet twice, so i'll be around longer, i hope it wont be as easy for you next time around

well if your idea of working is podding bone one time and us podding your corp 5 or 6 times then i guess good job. to me it looked like it was our advantage... maybe had you been around longer and seen the whole game played out you could of seen how things only went farther down hill for your corp after you died.

bah
before i died i was podded once by you i think? i forgot
but what my corpies were doing before i died wasn't a part of my strategy the only 2 ppl that was helpin me was dread and sven, and i dont think they got podded at all before i died, i could be mistaken tho

Y'all are funny...
Camaro: You couldn't hit the broadside of the barn... from inside or out.
Bone Collector: You're funny... you've bragged numerous times about how well you dominate in the Campus Party games, but then you turn around and say...

I guess you must hang around in games with minimal competition? I'm assuming there's a reason for that? [:D]
(I am just talking out of turn smack here... I brag all the time myself, and I don't even play anymore. [:D])

hahahaha rave
sure i can hit the broadside of the barn, my shooting is half the problem
i hit the macro 500 times and only takes 10 to kill in that game, and the corpie of the person i just killed always jumps up and smacks me before the screen stops scrolling
i think i need to try taking some valium before playing an aggressive game

Actually bone collector never "brags" about the campus games. All i ever say is that my corp usually wins. AND I only chime in when someone starts bashing my style of play.

Bone Collector
After playing with Bone Collector, I would have to say he is well on his way to being great at the game be it turns or unlimiteds. He has the number 1 ingredient which is dedication, he actually shows up to play his turns and plays them all everyday, he also is getting close to having the 2nd most important ingrediant inturns which is knowledge and thinking ahead... I think he will be an elite player very shortly who is ranked right up there wwith the top players of the game...

Actually, in my opinion...the number one ingredient for newbs to learn is to ask questions. I am nowhere near as good as people like Kemper who has helped me IMMENSELY. I am nowhere near as good as Gypsy who has helped me IMMENSELY. Hell, i will even give RES props here as he helped me IMMENSELY. Reading forums and listening to you guys bash on one another always made me scared to ask questions, but after having played with and against alot of the better players recently, i have learned that most times, the elite players dont really mind answering your silly questions and only occasionally do they make fun of you for asking. All of that being said, THANKS Rick. I really appreciate the comments.

Bone Collector did not show me much in a solo, 900 turn game <G>. There seem to be two schools of TW these days, the arcade players like Bone and Res and such, and the people who like to play it like space chess, who like the strategy, who like time limits, low turns, are not into "macro-monkey" online killing sprees and such. I am happy to be in the second group. Bone could not handle it. Maybe he will be able to one day. I will certainly agree that he is fast, and seems to have the fundamentals for a short game down, those being quick build, good casher. Saddly, Warchild also dropped out of this solo game. I guess alot of the people don't have the stomach for old fashioned strategic Tradewars.

thats a VERY arrogant thing to say
you think playing an unlimited game has no strategy, try one of those where everyone starts with similar resources, its the same killing that takes place 30 days into a stock game, at a MUCH faster pace
what the hell kind of strategy is required to do an offline invasion, which always takes place in low turn, time limited games?
you talk of these solo games, the ones i've seen ya in, everyone drops out because of BOREDOM, not because they were outplayed by you....
these fast paced games require MORE strategy, i've played more stock low turn games than unlimited games, and the reason i like these highly edited unlimited games is because of the strategy involved
