Maybe version 2.0 should include a reality meter.

If you're reality includes spending time to figure out which capatilizaton in your handle will look the coolest, all whilst trying to write like a robot or a car commercial, then more power too you I guess...

In my humble opinion, there is an extremely short list of players who are "elite" (though I dislike that word). There is an enormous gap between the abilities of the top few players, and all the rest. To be one of the best, you have to have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the game, know every single command by heart, be able to write a complicated macro very quickly, be a good strategist, be fast at the keys, be able to come up with creative solutions to problems, and be able to write and use scripts. I won't bother listing some of the "retired" players who might otherwise have made my list, but here are the players I consider to be at the top of the game right now:
In no particular order...
Blue Adept aka Timborulz
Tweety
Kemper3
prestone
Xide
Dr. Bad
The Reverend
<<Doctor Who>>
If you believe you should be on that list, don't bother flaming me. Either I'm not familiar enough with your game, or I think you are lacking in one of the areas I mentioned above. Either way, these are just my opinions, so don't get your panties in a wad over them.

Well I wont flame you, as I dont script so that removes me off the list right there, however, if you removed that requirement then I am sure a few others would be on that list.
not me so much so as that is one big difference not scripting
but effective use of scritps and macros is as far as I go.
I am glad I SDed your Butt though hehe
I like your list too, but have not spent time with doc who or kemper in games, but I hear they ROCK..

There are a lot of good players out there who are missing one or more of the attributes I noted. DOesn't mean they aren't good players, just means they can't be one of the best in MY opinion.
One thing to note, and I think I might have mentioned it here or the stardock already... #SD# someone is pretty tough if they aren't exposing themselves. That game where you got me, you did a good job, but it was only possible because I exposed myself trying to get into your sector. People who take risks like that get killed, and people who don't... don't. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll get to kill you some day.
