Heh, such an obvious troll, but...

The short answer is: The "best" players and the "best" corps are the ones with the most free time to play.

But, it's really a matter of play style and perception. What I consider the best clearly isn't what most people think of as the best. We've won several games where we NEVER got a single kill on the primary opposition. (Well, at least not till long after they quit, and we were just cleaning up fed...)

Now, if my corpies and I had more free time...but even then, I fail to see the point of trying to figure out who is the best at this game. I find trying to be the best I can be in real life much more rewarding.

Actually now that Rave has been so kind enough to talk here, I would like to put that suggestion to trial. I would be willing to host 150 player game off our main connection. I would like to see who is the best player so far off this forum an all. Who is the best killer, survivor etc, this I would like to see so much.

Rave: If you could help me to set up a game like this, I would be most appreciative. I would like to see this for real. People can talk smack all the want but are they good enough to back it up.

I am no means close to any one of you in here, not even good at all. I rather much suck, specially when I dare decided to challenge white knight in his own game and he has some what 50000x what I have, quite an unfair advantage. =(

But in true perspectives I hope a girl wins this rather than a guy. Just cuz I dont see many girls play this game at all, so far I only see a very limited # of girls playing. My money is all on Rave if she dares to play and back up her words.

The few girls you see playing can't compete. If you're putting money on rave, you'll lose it (unless she's playing some pud TWA players or something).

Kemper, your saying that girls suck then, they just arent good enough to be one of the elite... just that maybe in all, guys are omnipotent and us girls just not good enough to be the top ever? thats kinda shitty ...

If I still played I'd challenge you to a game and walk all over your rear end and end up calling you "my $*%&#". But of course I don't play anymore.

(I love being retired from play, because then I can make such challenges without having to worry about backing them up. )

umm... isnt that sound kinda stupid... in a way... you love makin false challenges, and because your retired you dont have to back it up... umm is it just me or does that sound kinda stupid... it actually sounds like braggin like hell, then hiding behind retirement so you dont have to act... forget it, i think kemper is right, i apologize kemper, this is truly a male dominated game. whereas makin challenges to everyone but sayin your retired rave... thats a little cheesy.

Mystic, if you are serious... Yes TW has a lot more men playing it than women. Not to say all men are better than all women. I have run across some very weak male players, and some pretty decent female players. That said, i have never seen a female player as good as the best of the male players. Does not mean she does not or did not exist. Personally, I think its essential that every corp have a female member. There is the "vengeful bitch" character as I like to describe it, that is essential to every major corp (thats any fun) through-out time. I am still looking for the right bitch for my perma, am sure she's out there somewhere...

That is actually the point MysticRain. I don't come into the Smack Talk forum to be serious. I post here to have fun and that's it. As a non-player-player I no longer worry about who the best player is. In fact, even when I was playing I didn't really give much thought to who the best player was. For that matter, before I started playing I really didn't worry about who the best player was.

You'd never get everyone to agree on a "best player" no matter how many games that player won. It's all a matter of perspective. You can be the best killer, the best evil, the best builder, the best CEO, the best strategist, the best booger-picker, the best person who cleans the boogers off the booger-picker's keyboard...

In Kemper's case, he's the best booger-picker-upper around, hands down, no doubt about it. Res Judicata, who replied to this topic earlier is by far the best booger-picker. The best builder would be Speedy, the best killer hELLCAT, the best CEO would be Xide, the best strategist Nazwes Chaiwind and the best evil... well, the best evil would be your's truly... the one and only Rave.

So now that I've managed to be both boastful (see final sentence of paragraph three) and talk some smack (see sentences one and two of paragraph three) I've fulfilled all the necessary requirements for a post to this forum, and thus I'm going to click on the "Post New Reply" button now as one very happy Rave.

Hmmmm..... I am pretty good at the vengeful bitch thing and I also am pretty good at talking smack. Being one of the few women in the game I would have to agree (cringe) with Col SAnders there really isn't a TOP female player right now. Although I am working on it. Maybe someday Prestone, Xide, hELLCAT, or Res (who once said he would) will take me under their wing and help cultivate my game playing..... Someday.

Bohemian, forget about those guys, if you want to complete your training, I can make you a top player. The thing is, you have to show up . Let me know, when you get stuff in order and have time to play again. Right now I have a great team, there are 3 of us regulars, 1 took off the last game, gonna try to get everyone together for a league game coming up, but we only want you if you will show.
