"You didn't lose because you didn't move. If you had moved, we would have found you. The Borg were my target due to a little confrontation I had with one of them during the World Trade Wars Championship. Regardless, for better or worse, Xide and myself outclassed the Borg from day one until the day Kemper managed to lock us out of the game. I podded and #SD#'d you several of you more than one time in your own Darn tunnel."
keep dreaming, if we'd have moved kemper woulda still kicked you guys asses, he didnt even have to look for us since it was all over the logs. Besides, you dont outclass anyone, you got that bubble cause of my corps connection problems plain and simple, how hard was it to ptorp into a sector with no level 5's and take out a few offline players? Your so full of yourself it aint even funny...
I dont remember you podding anyone on that corp while they were online. I do remember you forgetting to log in one night and cost xide all his exp now that was some real class

And think about this. It was about the time that we took out Kemper's corp that I finally got supremely frustrated with the way the USO was turning out and quit running turns. Corp 6 still outcashed you being one player short. I honestly couldn't tell you how they did it, or even when/how they finally took you guys out. I was logging in to chat only, and paid very little attention to the game. If I could give you details, I would, but since I don't have any, I can't.
----
When you quit playing, it was finally even. Remember, we lost Cherokee very early in the game, and played almost the whole game short handed 1 person. Another part of our grand strategy was based on the rumor that when hellcat left for Germany he would quit playing. Had that happened, who knows. It was a tough loss, and I still, to this day, want to know how they made that much cash that fast. I won't say it should not be possible, but it should definitely have been extremely difficult.

Losing to Kemper wasn't a big deal. I threw literally -everything- we had at you guys, so my little sister could have gotten into the game at that point and kicked our butts. Regardless of whether you were online or offline... you had two reds and two blues to me and Xides one/one combination. Two players beat your four down, hands down. If that doesn't say something, I couldn't tell you what does.
As for your continuing mention of how it wouldn't have been possible if you guys were online, I'll just add that to the Camaro's Excuse Script now. Thanks for the suggestion! Err, wait, that one's already been included... considering how many other times you've used it or similar arguments.

Such is life. You know, the month that we played in the WTC, three of those weeks I was on the road, logging in via my laptop, with a crappy 9600 baud connection from a cell phone. Same with about half of the game at HardCoded. ::sigh:: I used to be one truly dedicated player... to the point that WTC cost me almost 600 bucks on my cell phone bill. And you're going to bring up one extern that I missed? That's funny.

If I remember correctly (which I'm not sure I do), we were making around 80 million a day (after fuel ore buydown expenses) about the time I decided to be a... uh... about the time I decided I didn't want to be a "team player." That was from five of us buying down ports, selling off and then Hekky cleaning out the SxS ports.
Course, my memory is probably a little fuzzy... was a pretty hectic time and I must admit my committment to the USO just wasn't what it should have been, even from day 1. Though I did outlast the team's expectations that I'd ditch the game by the third day. (I was already fed up with the SDF bots by day two and like usual, didn't bother to hide it.)

Anyone who believes that they are capable of competing with me, either in a solo environment or in a team game, you're welcome to try your hand either in the WTC (starting tomorrow) or at chowdanet.com.
The chowdanet.com game is 700 turns, 5k sectors, stock settings and is at telnet://chowdanet.com port 2002.
If you're man enough, or woman enough as the case may be, bring it on.

and if she were to ask me to play in a game with her i would jump at the oppertunity yet i don't play low turn games anymore so that will be highly doubtfull.
her knoweledge of the game far out classes half the people who post in here along with her skill. to steal the moniker of one of the WWE's biggest superstars she should call herself "The Game" because, yes folks she is that Darn good.
Illusion your a great player i enjoy playing agianst you but your antics are writing checks that your butt can't cash. sorry to say it bro! anyway i will tke my ramblings elsewhere now.

actually the only one in here that has proof how good he is, is kemper. hes usually the one calling the shots in his corp and his corp usually does good in whatever game they're in
Again, I'll let my record speak for itself.

rave, lewdpotatoe is right, you hide behind xide, come to think of it i dont think i ever seen you in a game without him? btw i never got podded either in USO till my corp quit and i decided to go in and frack with everyones figs thats because i never left our SDT area, you dont hear me braggin about that crap
I have no need to hide behind anyone, even Xide. I play with Xide for one reason and one reason only... he's fun to play with! I made the decision after WTC to corp with Xide whenever and wherever possible. There isn't a single player out there that I have played with or against that makes the game as fun as he does.
As for leaving SDT area, in addition to all the stupid macro blow ups that I had in USO that left my cute little tail hanging out in the wind, I also spent several nights doing gridwork. Admittedly I wasn't very fast at it, as it was the first time I'd done -any- serious gridwork in a tournament-level game. I was rather nervous throughout the affair, as Xide can attest to, but I survived... so saying that I never left secured space just doesn't cut it.
quote:
i was on that borg corp and the only reason you guys got on there was cause my 2 corpies got kicked offline, at least when kemper went at them, he had to deal with a sector defense script btw, how did you find us, was it XIDE's CIM script? i do remember in that little conflict you went #SD# though, cause i killed you, i forgot how but i do remember capturing your ISS and getting the pod. before you died I remember I was all over our sector in a havoc with 99 figs tryin like hell to get away from xide and you never left dock to help him or maybe that was after you died, i dont remember
That wasn't the only reason. Whether or not your connections to HardCoded were acting up, it wouldn't have changed much... I just took advantage of the fact you were offline in order to reduce the risks. On one day I made three runs on your sector while you all were online, trying to take out that unmanned Missile Frigate you had in your door (??) sector. Unfortunately, and I'll readily admit this, I'm actually quite terrible with macros. All three attempts failed, and I didn't have the turns to keep trying.
I honestly couldn't tell you how we found you... I can tell you the only podding/#SD# that you Borg dished out to me, that I can distinctly remember, was after I (brazenly but very stupidly) chased after a player in a MisFri and ended up getting photoned). Either you and one of your Borg cronies showed up and rather than give you the cash I had on me, decided to CBY. (I really should have dropped those 10k or 20k fighters I had on me first, though...) Other than that, I can't remember any actual inter-player conflicts... but again, that game was going on a year ago. I'll take your word on any other encounters and add the pods and #SD# to my total record. (I'm a trusting person!)

actually you cost us NOTHING rave except 3 days of cashing, we were lucky and none of our planets colided before we retook the sector. Though the next day when we reloaded the sector with torps to get rid of the navhaz, we forgot to blow'em back up and lost 2 planets oops
anyway, we lost because we never moved, we assumed Kemper didnt' have crap, but no one knew who he was then either, we just underestimated him
as for chasing down someone with a frigate, i think that was me that photoned you but i dont remember you self destructing. I do remember trying to get xide the same way, I was hitting his figs in a havoc and when he came chasing after me i was killing his figs and droping my own to slow him down, he cought me when i xported back to the frigate, right before i warped out to torp him. That little chase lasted a while too, cause he kept 1 sector behind me and I was too scared to head back to the frigate, that was the most fun I ever had in a TW game, I never got into a good fight in a turn game since.

The borg had lvl 4 planets, you had lvl 2 planets. They also had a lot more figs than you. I don't understand how you consider that eliminating the borg. Oh well. As to a long time ago, I remember how most of the games I have played for the past year and a half have gone, from start to finish. But I do agree, it was a good game. One of the more competative non-tournaments games I've seen.
Look....A Traitor.
Borg : We Shall Assimalate Him!
Kemper : Oh crap! Run Nigga.
Borg : Arm Your Laser Pistols and Shoot Him in the Butt.
Kemper : Spare My Fatass! PLZ OH GOD.
Borg : Fire!!!
Kemper : I Got Gas! Faaaaaarrrrrttttt!
Borg : ITS A FEDERATION TORPEDO, Run Girls Quick!
