Ok, Posi...here is the best reason i have heard for killing newbs and people who are really newbs but think they arent. Playing in a game the other night and STARMAN is on world trading paranoid. I let him go while i wiped out another corp. This took a while and i ignored him. Well, i finally finished the messy stuff and decided i better get my hands on the cash that Starman and someone else were making for me. Both of these guys were trading without laying figs. Now, anyone that has played for a while knows that is a definite NO-NO. You are simply asking to be killed. I went and visited with Kal and warped upon the first guy and killed him. Sadly, he didnt have much money so i decided i better put starman out of his misery. I visit with Mr. Durak again and low and behold he tells me where i might locate Starman. I warp over and sure enough there he is trading in an empty little sector. It was such a pitiful sight...seeing a newb helpless and defenseless. BUT, as you know Posi, I hear voices and they chose this time to begin talking to me. "Kill him BONE!!!" So, I did. He was kind enough to give me 75 mill creds. I felt so much better and the voices actually subsided for a while. However, out of nowhere a louder voice began. Starman had created a dupe account with the sole purpose to tell me i cheated him. I tried nicely to explain it and told him that maybe since he was a newb he should come on here and post a question as to how he got found. He chose instead to spend TEN minutes calling me a F*&^*(& cheater and spouting nonsense about tedit access. I tried again to be nice but he informed me that he was not a newb and didnt need my help when it was sooooo obvious he did. He actually reminded me of you posi. I offered one last time to explain how it happened but he refused to apologize so i let him go on his way. After this episode, i have come up with a new way to play TWARS. From now on, if you are on a server i am on and i can tell you are a newb, i am GONNA KILL YOU IMMEDIATELY. And then maybe, they will go find that gay server you play on so you and pink will have someone to pick on.

I happen to enjoy playing against BC and his usuall corpie Loki they are great players and good compition. Besides killing newbies (which i still am one) is the only way we going to learn to survive longer.

Corran a newb? If all newbs were as good as you then they wouldnt die all the time. You and BigD are the real reason i learned to play. You guys kicked loki and i around a time or two and we learned from taking those beatings. I realize that todays typical gamer is a teenager or in the case of trade wars usually college aged kids. That is the difference between me and those guys like Posi and Pink. Instead of taking those beatings D gave me and crying about being picked on, i tried to learn the game a little better and it only made me more determined to become a decent player. The people that Posi befriends and defends are those that think they should be treated special because all their lives mommy and daddy never gave them any consequences for their wrong actions. They have had people like Posi around to baby them through all the adversity they faced. Those arent the type of people i want to play with/against anyway. So, if me killing them gets rid of them then so be it. The less i see of posi clones the better as far as i am concerned.

so far I have found the attitude of the players rejective at best. I have never seen such utter rudeness in a "GAME" before. For these people I have one question...DO YOU WANT THIS GAME TO DIE?? Because if u do, keep going the way u are and no one will stay to play with you!!

when i was a newbie, i got picked on by everyone, Adomma, Founder, Father Cajone, Jackal, Shagnasti, they all killed me all the time, not a signle day would go by that i was #sd#,
but insted of bawling about it, i was descent, then they started showing me what i was doing wrong.
BUT, i will tell you this, them killing me everyday is what made me wanna learn, my whole goal was to learn enough to kick they're butt's heh.
maybe you posi, not only you there are more, im using you as an example, maybe you should take that to heart, dont complaine, whine, what ever, your a newb, getting beat, and #sd# is part of the game, it isnt called tradeWARS for nothing.
you will learn from this, and in the end it will make you a better player.
there are good players out there who will work with newbs, well newbs who dont complain.

heh i kept getting killed every day by this pest named prestone any game i went in he was there and killed me boy i was pissed off at him but since then i have thanked him if it wasn't for him i wouldn't even be as decent as i am now. and yes i am a decent player not great or ever really good i get killed all the time now but i do get my kills in:) posi don't take it personal it is part of the learning process we all have gone through it. sounds more like you give up then wanting to actually learn to play, the more you complain about it the bigger the target becomes on your chest. If you take a little time to learn what you did wrong or maybe ask one of them to corp with you a couple times to show you a few things of what to and not to do then things will get easier. just my 2 cents worth. I will corp with anyone at least once but then again i just love playing

yup, your way better off telling the guy that killed you, "hey nice job" than pissin and moanin, then ask him for advice, most of the people in this community are very nice people and if you ask them nicely, most will help you out or give you advice. If you dont understand something, ask or post it in the tw forum.

Ok...i've read all the smack in here so I may as well add my $.02..When i first started...I was killed ALL the time...Grazhoppa had me for lunch on a daily basis. The Rev and i started playing at the same time...we hooked up and had a good corp till he got too Darn good at scripting and Goodguys came calling. Anyway, we both took our lumps but still played..finally I went asking for advice.RES and Graz helped alot...I got into some TW league games with Stonewall/ Prestone/Jackal...learned alot from them.
There were times i felt like quitting at first but stuck with it..BUT I got help from the peeps killin me...just had to ask.
CF is a newbie, yes, but he is honerable and plays his turns...he follows directions and is NOT a loose cannon with his ships or his mouth. He'll get better if he wants to.
As for the newbie killers out there...you impress me NOT!!!! Gee why don't ya go kill a Starport and brag about it??... or better yet...just hit "CBY" on your keyboard....roflmao
