Or maybe since batman is on the "board of directors" he is "above" the rules. In this topic they have been accused of breaking all their own rules. What a joke.

TWA Rules of the road!! Any application indicates you have read and agree to abide by them.

1. A Team is six people. Games that allow less than this number per corp will have to be played as megacorps, with the CEO deciding who fill what position. At no time will 2 Trade Warriors Alliance (TWA) teams be assigned to the same game. We don't want 2 teams either killing each other, or helping each other.



2. Team CEO's can/will assign corp names as he/she sees fit in games deployed to. Team CEOs should present any requests for special award/deduction of Quix for Team members after each game.



3. ALL TWA members can be found listed on the TWA page. When/If I have their permission, I will also publish some contact information for them

We will also post notes from corp members trying to gather a team. I need you to provide me with game settings for that game and your contact info so folks can go straight to you.



Some game servers allow you to create duplicate accounts. ON MOST SERVERS THIS IS NOT TOLERATED. TWA will not support such activity. If you are playing on one of those server that allow it, do as you feel. However, if we are notified a player is creating dupe accounts on a server that does not tolerate this, said player will be dropped from membership in TWA.



TWA members do not need any approval to become part of another perma-corp. TWA welcomes players from all perma-corps and is intended to provide a pool of players (both experienced and not so much) that can be trusted to abide by server rules and are willing to learn/teach something.

No, duping is not among the tactics we teach. And TWA members are REQUIRED to follow the rules of the server. If a sysop finds a TWA member breaking his/her rules it needs to brought to our attention.

No such complaint has been received to date from a sysop. Merely the routine whining of sub-par players who get spanked. Include Hooman in this category for thinking he was playing a TWA team (Personaly, I think he was beating himself). As a general way of playing, once a team has won 3 games in a row, they either move to another server or bring in other members. As was pointed out, TWA is more about teaching than winning. We just reward those winning ways. I, nor TWA, is responsible for you missing out on 3 spankings... The Toadville H game was won 3 times, then the team moved on. The next Game was won by a non-TWA team. Please stop confusing them, I do not care what they were saying or doing.

However, at least one member of that team has joined since (that I am aware of).

for some clarification:

corp 1: i am the only (to my knowledge) TWA member on the corp.
it is not an official deployment, and you will note we did work
in this case together towards the destruction of "the kitties"(the
official TWA deployment) this was nothing personal, simply part of
playing the game.

and yes, some of my corp members do engage in "talkin trash".. like everyone else seems to.

it was a well played and well earned game on your part. we will strive in the future to not allow the repeat of it.

Novous Ordo Seclurum is NOT A TWA DEPLOYMENT.

I do suspect there was some dooping and other things going on in the game, but by in large it was won and lost on skill and mistakes.

one person stupidly sat at stardock while someone SD'ed her... with
no valid reason for it other than "i didn't think he would"....
(yes, i just sat there while Camaro SD'd me)

we had all 4 corpies make fatal mistakes on the same day.

it was a fascinating game. it will be a pleasure assimilating you.
also: the previous game H was the first time we played it, and first time we won it.

Look... I have played with several twa members and am a twa member myself.. I have not noticed any of this so called whining that you speak of but I have not played on a server that you have been on...

Camero.. I played in the USO game with you and didnt here any of this stuff from you there. When I was sd'd by someone there I congradulated them on the good kill. I personally dont flame anyone.. but saw some of this resentment tonight on coastgames game A where a player called im bored talked about kicking my butt on Alpha Prime where he took a level 4 planet from me...

the first game that I finished at Alpha Prime we had over 110 level 6's and I was dropping planets out in open area's for the newb's I am not playing that game this bang because the last game there wasnt any decent competition after the 2nd day.

yea this is smack talk forum here and i have no problems with any of the posts I enjoy the smack talk. Kemper you and I have corped together in the chess game and you didnt see any of this behavior out of me.. I enjoyed that round and am looking forward to the next one..

I CEO'd the USO game and learned alot from it.. I applaud the players that are still in the game and check with several regularly to see how they are doing.

I have corped with alot of different corps, and players.. some times we win some times we loose. The lesson is to have fun and learn to be a better player.

We do help alot of new'bs with advice and we learn from better players. I personally dont see why anyone should be whining about a game.. get a life folks its a game.

Hey Camaro it's been twice now that TWA members have thrown the gauntlet at you feet. I think that you are a good player and would like to have the opportunity to play against or with you eventually. But when are you going to take up our challange? I would think a Navy Brat like you would have a little more backbone. Oh and when it comes to dupers and bug users I have ZERO tolerance. And I know the SYSOP from coastgames feels the same. That is one reason why I love that board. The SYSOP is always available to the players. And always checks on dupes and deletes them. What more can you ask for??? And if you like a specific game send me the edits you want and I will gladly forward them on to the SYSOP at coastames for next rebang. Whateer it takes to get you out from under your rock.

Well done Camaro. Your win was worthy indeed for if you weren't there then your corp wouldn't have had a chance. It may be true that my trashtalking to gameplaying in that last game was a *tad* bit unbalanced. However .... The insult you have dealt me by grouping me with the TWA crowd cuts me to the core. I humbly (yea right) request your return to toadville H so that my corp can redeem it's good name and prove we aren't on the same low level as the mainstream TWA twarrior. I shall indeavor to keep my trashtalking ratio more balanced. meaning that I will raise my gameplay while keeping my trashtalking about the same.

I'm not sure what upsets me more... The fact that Camero beat me because I was doing something stupid or the fact that he accuses my corp of being in the TWA. I'm insulted that ANYBODY would even think that I or my corp was on that standard of play.

Deep South, Temp Game. You, Lewdpotato and Rocketman CBY'd out of that game, screaming I was Stonewall (the Deep South ServOp) playing in the game. (Or rather, at least -one- of you was screaming that, in the daily logs no less!) Heh, screaming and whining about CIM Hunters, screaming and whining about this and that.

How did that game go, anyways?

Ah, yes. The first couple days almost everyone was #SD# and unable to get to dock. After I took Xalio under my wing I quit blocking dock and we started building a base in a tunnel. You guys found it and wiped it out completely on day 8. #SD#'d me and Xalio. I called in some temp help to rebuild... Silver Dragon for red cashing (played full turns for only two nights) and Xide for some colonizing and hunting (colo'd full turns one day and hunted for two days). Then it was back to me and Xalio for the rest of the game. By Day 14 we owned the game again, was pulling off mass invasions, fueled by my red cashing (self furbing red cashing, to boot). I stayed in the game for two months after that, playing solo, red cashing nightly on my own. I finally timed out in December after my ATV accident. It was a fun game and I can't recall -ever- hearing more whining than I did from your team. It was hilarious.

Now... say it didn't happen that way? Say you've improved since then? Say I'm just cocky? It ain't braggin if I can back it up. If you think you and your boys can do better now, I invite you to trmade98.dyndns.org. Stock game, 250 turns, game is only 2 days old and I'm not blocking dock. Me solo against anyone and everyone...

You can talk crap about how terrible other players are, or you can, if you have the cajones, try to prove how great you are...

It's simple. Me, one lone TWA member against anyone and everyone. You either have the backbone to take solo me on by yourselves or hell, with a full corp, or you have no backbone and are all just talk.

i checked that server
lag is terrible and the game is 15k sectors and like 6k ports i think, 250 turns with 9k empty sectors, i dont think anyone in here has the patience for a game like that
