Okay I screwed up. I thoght i was doing something to help out the players. The other night about 6 players were on, the most active ones. a few of them asked me to raise turns. Well I asked on fed comm and on private hails to the ones that didnt answer fed.
3 of them asked for 1 k more turns per day.
So I did change it 1k more.
So tonight some players got really pissy and said they are quitting, fine np. You guys were on and I did ask you. If you ignore me, then I do not know what you want.
I should have known better than to change setings in the middle of the game, I assumed all players wouldn't mind more turns.
Since the mod is supposed to be set for high turn anyways.
One got so mad he spammed the server til it crashed.
I have learned a few things and dont care what anyone thinks for now on. If you do not like the settings then dont play. After all it is a game.
I try to please everyone and it dont work out no matter what you do.
Like that old saying: you can't please everyone.

I feel where you are coming from Bethel, I ran into a similar situation on my server too, and in some ways felt like you do at the moment, but it passed, and the really appreciative players that play let me know not to worry about it and run the server as I see fit, after all it was my server, bought and payed for by me, you will find there are players you can't please no matter what you do, all you can do is try to do what you can for them and if the players ignore you and get pissy then it is their fault for not keeping on top of things themselves, thats just my .02 on this and nuff said, like you said, it is in the past now, so don't let it bother you and keep going forward like you are doing now. And good luck with the server, I will try to get some time soon if I get a break in my school and work schedule to look at the server. And hpefully play on it for a while.

Yeah, one mistake and I get accused of giving one corp another corp's planets. I wasn't going to post on this but after a statement made in the game I turned the turns up in, I feel I should respond.

Okay I did put the turns up. You can bet it will not happen again. And if your friend told you (you know who you are), That I did give another corp your planets, he is lying, no two ways about it. I might make mistakes, but to outright cheat?. And your statement:

Was total BS. You didn't have the game won "hands down" and Not because sysop intervention you lost Cause your corpies with the mega scripts quit, thats why you lost.



Well I think you friend is lying straight up cause his was pissed off. Ask the other corp. I dont care. Oh yeah then you killed the other guy on your corp and CBY'd. That was reall nice of you.

I know my server lost so face because of the turns mishap. I know that I will get a bad rap for it. So why would anyone want to add stuff that simply isn't true? I know some of the best players/scripters will not come back. That is a shame as I enjoyed having them here. I am sorry for turns being changed and causing hard feelings, but what is done is done. Move on get a life and have more babies is what I say!.
So you can say what you will as long as it is true. Other than that I will call whoever has the gall to say I cheated a liar. I am sure I have pissed people of before and will again. So be it.
